Most Recent Posts LunagramPosted Feb-18-07 05:10:19 PST Been sometime since I've been here of a morning. I wonder gm if you would inquire of Luna if she accepts commission work. Obviously from the pictures she is not in the starving artist category but I know the raw material available far exceeds the poop art production and there are several subjects I would like to see enshrined atop a nugget. I would allow complete artistic freedom, requesting only subject selection and the simplicity that she does so well. DatesPosted Jan-09-07 02:23:14 PST Now dates I like. I even store them til they ar very dry, hard, but still sweet. YOO HOO....You may find it counterproductive to your goals that you roll the board.Posted Jan-09-07 02:20:54 PST Not really a nice thing to do. Blog appears to be a personal / business journal open to the public. Blogger is god in that blogger exerts total control of content. Blog has value as medium of expression, influence, business promotion, ad traffic, links. Blogger and visiting commenters subject to pressure to conform. Blog is subject to most laws. Blog is PERMANENT, every entry, even deletions is archeived and available for recall, FOREVER. Blog Truth depends upon the blogger. There is a whole lot of them, so many must be virtually readerless. Mercy, thats enough for me to think on this week as I slog thru the swamps at the fun factory. Add more if you will. TTFN
Truth or falsehood? Hunting rabbits in thePosted Jan-07-07 10:25:28 PST swamp was quite different than in the fields.. The dogs would pick up a scent and follow it til they got close enough to the rabbit that it broke it's frozen posture. Then they chased by sight. This way and that, generally through the briars, bushes, and whatever else the rabbit could find to slow the pursuit. After a short while the rabbit would tire and zip, run up a tree out of sight. The dogs would surround the tree howling their frustration at being unable to pursue. The tricky part came then, select a long sapling with a fork at the end, cut the fork til the tines were about half an inch long, then ease this up the tree to the rabbit, twist it into his fur and pull him down from the tree. A quick chop behind the ears and it was all over. |
