Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Good Morning BlogvillePosted Sep-30-07 05:06:34 PDT Another beautiful day in Delaware. I wish we could keep this type of weather most of the year. We were going to do some yard sales and flea markets this morning but...... I am in serious PAIN this morning. As some of you may know I was to have surgery on 9/17. We went to the hospital, got to Pre-Op where the took 25 minutes to try and get the IV started with no luck. They finally put in a Central Line. Then they took me back to the OR and put me under. WHen they tried to put the breathing tube in the same anethoseligest (sp) could not get it in. While trying to intubate they must have used those plastic bite guard things because ever since my back tooth/gum has been killing me. I went to brush my teeth this morning and I thought someone was pulling that back tooth with no novacaine. I think they must have cracked that tooth or something and it just cracked all the way this morning. I have not had a tooth ache in over 20 years. I forgot how bad they HURT. My surgery is rescheduled for Monday 10/8 so I am going to call the dentist in the morning. Don't know if he can get it fixed in a week. I hope I don't have to wait until after the surgery. Anywho, you all have a great Sunday!!!!
Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Good Morning Everyone!Posted Sep-29-07 06:33:18 PDT Wow what a beautiful Fall morning!! Fall has got to be my favorite time of year. I just love the feel in the air, the breeze, the slight musty smell from the falling leaves. Wearing big bulky slightly rough 100% cotton sweaters that you can snuggle down into. Most of my adult life I have worked in retail. As some of you may know in the wonderful world of retail in order to "move up" you have to move around a lot. SO I have moved all over the East Coast. Anyway there have only been two houses that I have ever felt that have been HOME to me. One is the one we are living in now as it is my dream house - 154 yr old farm house. The other was a small Cape Cod that my Ex and I purchased years ago. Days like this bring me back to a very happy time in that Cape Cod. Not all memories of Ex's are bad...... I try to remember only the good....that way my life seems more blessed. Time holding grudges and hating seems wasted. So that is my thought of the day... brought on by the beautiful weather

SOOOO SOOORRRYPosted Sep-27-07 08:21:21 PDT OMG. I did not mean to BLOG and RUN. I posted the story about Lil Frodo's first venture down the steps this morning then my phone rang. You made me laugh Buggel....No we have no HUMAN Children, just FURRY ones. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and wishes for Lil Frodo. He is doing well, he is happy, adapting well to being a 3 legged wonder pup and being spoiled rotten. We are going to visit his MeMaw and PopPop in a few weeks so you know he will be even more spoiled...if that is possible.
Good Morning ..Check out this Picture of Lil FrodoPosted Sep-27-07 07:20:13 PDT Updated Sep-27-07 07:21:02 PDT As you all know Lil Frodo has Bone Cancer.Yes it was confirmed in the Biospy. We had to have his left leg amputated the Tuesday after Labor Day. BUT he is doing very well. Anyway we have not allowed him to go up and down the interior steps for fear he may fall and injure his other front leg. Well last night he decided he was coming upstairs to BED and that was all there was to it. However what goes up MUST come down. So this is a picture of what we were faced with at 4AM. Now we have 2 sets of steps in the house. One is in the front which is not as steep and has a carpet runner on it. BUTTTTT NOOOO Frodo will only come down the back steps which were considered the "maid or butler" steps in these old houses as they lead directly into the kitchen. These are the steps DH uses in the middle of the night to take the boys down to go outside if they have to potty because they also land right by the back door. So Frodo is trained to come up the front steps and go DOWN the back steps. We have not "attacked" this room yet for a total remodel as it is just my craft (junk) room. So this weekend we have to at least put some carpet treads on the steps for traction.
The only way I got him to come down was to go into the refrigarator and rattle the CHEESE package. HE LOVES cheese. I just said Momma has cheese. Up he popped. I stood in front of him with my hands on the sides of his chest in case he slipped. The things we do for our babies is crazy!!! For those of you who do not like Cheese for breakfast.....Here is some SPAM!! Check out the Gorgeous Compote Bowl

OH DDSKITTY YOU STILL HERE?Posted Sep-25-07 17:49:31 PDT WAHOOOOOO LOOK what Heavenly DID for meGood Morning Everyone!!! Are there any crochetersPosted Sep-25-07 05:15:07 PDT in blogville? I have finally decided to list some of my crochet booklets that have been sitting around. Most of them are new and out of print from 1989-1992. I don't know what is wrong with me here lately but I just do not feel like crocheting, do cross stitch, making candles or anything. I'm like is a funk or something. I have a beautiful snowflake afghan started about 3 years ago that I need to finish but just don't feel like it. Anyway here are some of the booklets. There are more to come.
