Most Recent Posts Why Buy a Designer Dress for BabyPosted Feb-24-08 12:55:38 PST I've been thinking about this for some time as this simple question is the bottom line of what I create. To beigin with, special occasions require special dresses. Prom dresses and wedding dresses cost much more than a christening gown, yet no one hesitates to purchase them. In comparison, the christening gown is as fairly and appropriately priced modest purchase. They are also, for the most part, only worn once and packed away with the memories. So the fact that your baby is only going to wear this gown once should not stop you from buying what is appropriate for the occasion. On your wedding day you want to look perfect for the photos and your dress plays a huge part in the success factor. This is also true for your baby's special day to be the most treasured and wonderful day. So, as I reasoned this out, drop the guilt and buy the gown. With proper care and storage, it may well be worn again in the future. Thanks for listening, Vickee
