going away for the holidays

I know I haven't written much here. I will not be adding any more entries until after Jan 1st. So, I thought I would wish everyone a Happy Holiday. Also, good luck on all your ebay activities, buying or selling. See ya.

PS3

The media here has been showing stories of people waiting in line as long as 3 days to get one of these. Wow, that's more patience than I ever had. I've also noticed how many of these are selling for big bucks here on Ebay. My question is... did anyone buy the system just for themselves? If so, have you played it yet? Was it worth it? Do you recommend it to people who are thinking about buying later? I just want to know.

Paypal came thru for me

Just learned yesterday that Paypal is going to refund the full amount that I lost in that bad transaction back in Sept. I guess that means it wasn't such a bad experience after all. Just goes to prove that using Paypal is the best way to pay for an auction. Now I need to reinvest that refund so, I going to look around for something else .

ok, new sellers deserve a chance to.

My last entry got me some interesting feedback so, I decided maybe you have a point. New sellers do deserve a chance to make or break. I will deal with them as long as they offer Paypal. That way, if the deal does go sore, I can at least get some of the money back. I didn't mean to make any potential sellers think they aren't going to make it. I know it's hard to make the first few sells and get a start. I do however still stick to the ideal that you should have at least a 95 percent positive feedback, or at the very least a good reason for not having it. And I can't think of any arguement that would make me change my mind on that.

Bad experience

Back in September I bought a book from a seller who never sent it to me. I just filed a claim with Paypal but, he is no longer a registered user. I don't know if I will get my refund or not. This is the only place where I feel as though I can bitch about it. This whole experience is going to make me change how I do business on ebay. How? #1. I will never buy from a seller who has less than 100 positive feedbacks. No matter what he is selling, or how good the deal. #2. I will no longer buy from a seller who's feedback is less than 95 percent. NO matter what. #3. I will stick with sellers I know as much as possible. I know this seems to be harsh, but so what? If a seller can say they will not sell to anyone with negative feedback, why can't a buyer say the same? In fact, if you are a seller that makes to many demands of a buyer, I not dealing with you either.
