| Most Recent Posts New Jersey Bike ShowPosted Sep-05-06 19:16:04 PDT To help promote our ebay store, we attend several shows a year and sell product direct to our customers. We're at just such a show in Wildwood, NJ this week. It's called the Roar to the Shore and looks to be a fun rally. We're hoping we'll be able to get a good idea of what may be hot this Christmas. Also, hoping to promote our store. It's raining pretty good here now. We hope it'll clear up for the show. Worse case though, we have rainsuits to sell ;) Get ready for ChristmasPosted Sep-04-06 18:17:46 PDT It seems like just yesterday that we were sending stuff gift wrapped for customers. Hard to believe it's going to be that time again. The older I get the quicker Christmas comes...I dread 60! Wonder what will be hot and what will not? Wish I had a crystal ball to see what stuff to send to auction and what to leave in the store. It was so easy when I worked in a brick and morter store...I knew what was going to be hot and what should be stocked...also had the face to face thing going on. I ain't figured the ebay Christmas out yet...any of you had any luck? Auction versus StorePosted Sep-01-06 20:08:09 PDT Well, Ebay proved a point to us this last week. After offering the free listing from store to auction to encourage us to put more at auction or fixed price, our sales really did go up! I wouldn't have believed it or even tried it had Ebay not made us that offer. I'm sure glad they did. Our sales have increased 30% during that period and we've been sending more store to auction since then and getting the same results. If you guys haven't tried this, I'd highly recommend giving it a shot. Just thought I'd pass this on. Ebay folks are the best...Posted Aug-31-06 19:53:11 PDT Yesterday, I asked for help at about 10PM and do you know by 11PM I had 13 suggestions and helps from other ebay members. It was really awesome. Now, I haven't figured out how to do all of what was suggested but am working on it. I can't believe all the nice folks who took time to reply and make suggestions. This time it was an Ebay problem but I'm thinking for whatever problem I might develop next whether Ebay or personal, I'm going to post it and see what happens. I bet the Ebay folks could solve just about anything. Thanks to everyone who came to my rescue. Hope I will be able to return the favor next time. You guys made an Ebay blogger out of me! HELP! How do you get pictures on your review?Posted Aug-30-06 19:15:17 PDT I've tried for a couple of weeks now to add pictures to my guides. It will not accept them. I go to "browse" and then find the picture off my computer, and then insert. It goes to the guide but when I hit save, it says, please correct the guide in red letters at the top. I've emailed ebay but haven't got a response for help yet. I'd really like to use this feature. I've used the link just fine...just can't get the pictures to work. I'd sure appreciate the help if anyone can help me. |
