Bill Clinton warns country is polarized...

Hello pot?? This is the kettle...Jeez Bill did we need you to come up with this startling revelation..it was you who made mention of Obama's astounding victory being attributed to his color.  I don't know, but the former President needs to stay away from the press.

I was amazed to hear Senator Obama tell us that while he believed everyone should learn English -- and then he followed up with how we should all make sure our kids know Spanish.  Hmmmm - what economic super power speaks Spanish?? I am still confused because it sure isn't Mexico.  Perhaps Senator Obama needs to clarify --- wait, his word is "refine"...his position on immigration.  I can understand learning French or German..but why Spanish?  Does the Senator plan on opening the borders wider?  Wow, just the thing our economy needs.  I paid $4.67 a gallon today..I filled up my car and it cost me $82 - it was a very fulfilling experience.  I needed a cigarette afterwards.

One of the greats of modern baseball died today...Bobby Murcer..so cool..such a reliable player. He played for 17 years.  Do you recall how many people recently have a career that lasts that long?  I mean Bobby played...most everyday for most every year of his career.  Dang, I suddenly feel old.  Sad news too, Tony Snow.  Sure he kinda sold out there at the end mouthing platitudes and lies about the war on behalf of the President but before that, I swear he had a stellar career in Washington journalism.  He was a good guy and a talented flutetist.  These guys weren't old..Bobby Murcer had brain cancer..but he was really only 62 years old.  Tony Snow was 53. 

I wonder how much Marc Anthony got for selling that song to Nissan for those uber-irritating commercials??
