After being a seller for over 5 years I sold 1k in merchandise this month!  Thanks to everyone who motivated me, wished me luck and crossed a few fingers!

Hello to everyone who is still awake in blogland, hope your Monday was great and your Tuesday is even better!  I hope I didn't spoil my goal by blabbing it in an earlier blog but despite all the changes my sales are actually really good this year!  I'm VERY close to my 1k goal I set for myself this month....sales were slow at first, I got stiffed on an item and I work 64 hours a week full time so I SHOULD have listed more but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.......and if anyone here would maybe say a little prayer, voodoo chant whatever you think might work I would appreciate it!  :)

Hello to everyone in blogland, hope your Saturday is winding down nicely wherever you are!  Happy Easter weekend to those of you who celebrate.  Still trying to reach my goal but a few setbacks threw me off this month.....alot of new members running up bids then not paying for items.....what a mess!  I asked in an earlier blog if anyone thinks it is rude to request that buyers with less than a certain number of feedback MUST contact me before bidding....is that legal on ebay?  Does anyone else use that policy?

Happy Humpday to everyone in blogland...hope you are having  a relaxing evening wherever you are in the world!  I recently got stiffed on an auction from a new buyer with no feedback and although I KNOW we all had to start somewhere to build up those lovely little stars BUT....I have noticed some sellers put a disclaimer on their auctions that if you have less than a certain feedback rating you must contact them before you bid.  Is that legal per ebay........does it sound rude to buyers?  Any suggestions to curb this type of thing from happening again?

Has anyone recently sold to vikun_2008.  I sold a really cute piece to them with no contact, no payment......the address in Russia and they have no feedback.  What are the odds I'm going to get paid?

Hello to everyone in blogland, hope your Thursday is going great!  It was 70ish here today in London which was AWESOME, my Easter Lillies are blooming, a bit early I'm afraid but nonetheless...I just hope my tulips make it until Spring!  Yesterday was my one year anniversary of being at my job and today I got a RAISE.....go me!  The pain in my neck has subsided a bit...I'm all Advil.  Tomorrow is Friday, I'm off till Monday night so I'm ready to list, list, list.....I'm on a mission this month!

Happy Humpday to everyone in blogland....hope things are great wherever you are!  I stopped in to check my auctions but REALLY I wanted to sit in this chair because it vibrates.....stop laughing....I have a pinched nerve in my neck.  I'm a healthy active person and not quite sure how this happened, although I do lift 180 pounds dead weight at work so my spidey senses tell me that MAY have something to do with it.  This is a foreign thing to me....I don't get sick or hurt....I got spidey senses, remember!  Anyone ever had a pinched nerve in their neck and if so does alternating hot and cold dull the pain?  Can I get a virtual massage on ebay?

Hello to everyone.........hope you had a wonderful day and your evening is winding down nicely wherever you are in blogland!  I'm checking my auction since I'm quite pleased with the results so far.....I really hated to let the coat go...it's so freakin cute!  The coat reminds me of when I was a teenager......I was geek chic before it was cool....in the 80's I was just a geek LOL  I think I tried a little bit of every style, some cute, some NOT so cute!  I'm so glad I finally just decided to be ME and wear what makes me happy......so, if you are YOUNG enough to remember the 80's what was your style?

Good morning to all the beautiful bloggers...and the cranky guy who sends me emails :)  Hope everyone is having a wonderful day....I got home at 8 am and began the ebay dash to wrap all my recently sold items.....each in color coordinated tissue paper and hand write each thank you card all while doing a well choreographed dance of holding a tape gun, folding a box and hitting the print button on my computer....I'm finished, the carrier just drove away and I should list some new items today.....honestly, I have a sickness and there is a closet full of purses who could all use a good home....I should photograph the purse closet  LOL it's REALLY bad!.....

I'm in DIRE need of a recipe for chicken and dumplings....kinda like Cracker Barrel but BETTER ...........prefer hand rolled with lard...yeah like I need some lard  LOL but really.........easy and I understand with dumplings quick is not an option but I have a huge music collection to sing along with while rollin some dough....please NO DROP dumplings...I don't like the texture...picky eater!  :)

It's Friday night and it's soooooo cold outside, some parts of Kentucky are expecting up to 12 inches.  Hope it's warm and toasty where you are and buyers and sellers each had a good week!  I'm settled in for the night with pizza and logs on the fire!

I see blogs with all these cool photos but ummm I have to admit when I can't figure something out...anybody got the Readers Digest version of how to do it? 

Hello everyone!  Hope this has been a good week for both buyers and sellers!  I'm at work tonight and brought my computer because there is a RUMOR of snow...at least I'm calling it a rumor so in my mind it's NOT going to happen..anyone else ready for Summer?

I had a nice sale Saturday and wanted to ship this morning so after carefully wrapping the piece and writing a thank you note I was about to print my label when I realized I was out of INK!  I couldn't sleep all night......I dashed to Office Depot this morning where a team of trained experts....wait, no, this was two guys who had to look up on a computer to find what was right NEXT to them on a shelf.  I made it back home in record time.......then after installing the new ink and waiting for what seemed an eternity for the  printer to do all the test prints and stuff that annoys me I finally printed my label and like a scene out of Mod Squad I raced to the front door to greet the mail carrier.......................I had more work to do!  I listed some pieces that I've debated on for a while and booked Wednesday with my "girls" to photograph the clothes....it will probably rain!

In October I purchased five Fire King Jadite bowls.....I thought they were a berry bowl set or something.....they are small but still they were marked Fire King and I LOVE Fire King coffee mugs so I bought them.  I've cursed myself every day since then because they have taken up space in my office so I listed them and it turns out what they really are were 4 of the small 5" mixing bowls that complete the set and are hard to find and one six inch mixing bowl.  Thanks to "N" from New York I ended the auction and split them up........now I have decided to auction off another.  These bowls are in excellent condition...I don't think they were even used.....the house where they came from had not been touched in over 25 years.  So, if you are a Fire King collector, or know someone who is then check out my auction listed today.......and good luck!
