the whole search and how your items are now found is a huge issue...more than price change and feedback.  if they can not find you how can you get anything?

I have searched many of my items and some are coming up at the end and some store items are not coming up at all... so that is a bigger issue for me than the changes in fees and fedback.  because none of that matters if they can not find your item to buy. it all stops there with the search.

Not sure if I am missing something...

This by no means is a highly scientific process but what has happened to me over the boycott...

Looking at my store traffic reports for the month of February:

Before boycott I had an  average of 100 unique visits to my store per day

After boycott I had an average of 60 unique visits to my store per day

But also not as many items were listed during the boycott... I did not close the store, just kept what was in there.

( I have not gone and figured out how many sales for each time period yet...may be too sad)

it does not take much to know that sales have dropped

Last month (January) I had a total of 4200 visits for the month

Current month of February I have had a total of 2200 visits for the month

there are many variables that would go into this calculation if it were to be done correctly

Product have changed (as they always do) so not sure if it is apples to apples

just from where I sit.... getting kinda lonely out there:(

Madonna has made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...I used to listen to her old stuff and liked when I was "younger".  I kind of think it is great that Justin Timberlake actually said that "Madonna was the one that brought Sexy back".....Hmmm I'm thinking it was JT!

Well JT is going present her with the award at the Waldorf Astoria in NY on March 10th....kind of weird because the Rock % Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland!

I have a UPS store near me and I was able to put info in for a shipment and found it to be less expensive than USPS....but I have to drive there and have them print postage for each box while I wait.

In the past when I would call UPS for a quote it was much more expensive, so not sure how it is cheaper from the store?

any thoughts? what do you use and do  you like it? 

I love the ability to be able to print all my stuff at home and either have the Post office pick it up or I drop it off (really close to the house)

well school vacation and week off from work are almost over... getting ready to go back to work and see what happended with the strike.

hey I just realized that the strike is the same week as many schools have vacation. so the number may be higher/lower because of that.

 

some folks go away and will not use ebay because they are away with their family on vacation.

others may go on becuase they are home with the kids and are not usually the ones on beacause they are at work.

what do you think?

The Lladro is actually still at 1/2 of the original value...but since it is retired have no idea what type of bargain the price is!

I feel that I have been "baby sitting" buyers...payment reminders, unconfirmed address ( I do not accept) ect.  well have been waiting for payment 7 days now and sent an email this am and now look at buyer, over 900 feedback they are unconfirmed!

Ya know its time & effort.... and all I will get back is final value fee...Thanks for nothing!

Sorry for the stupid question? in my listings it states I do not ship to unconfirmed addresses. so do you know as a buyer if your address is confirmed or not when you purchase something? 

It just seems that I am spending so much time with these buyers.... I know that it will change with the new rules.  not sure how that will work?
