Changes...

Hi everyone! Posting every day is getting to be too much of a chore. I've also been told by some clients that they just don't have time to go on every night to look at my items.

So... to simplify things, I'm going to be posting ALL of my weekly prints on Thursday nights at 7pm Pacific Time. That way, those of you who go away for the weekend won't miss your opportunity to bid.

I've also decided NOT to spread out the bids by 1 minute intervals, for 2 reasons:
1. Keeping them in a large "block" is more visible to you as a consumer.
Some people have told me that other photographers post in big blocks of items, which is very helpful visually. They can easily see all the items at once. But, if they're spread out over time, then you may accidently overlook an item.

2. You'll bid on an item when you want it, rather than waiting till the last second, or forgetting to bid.
I've been getting a lot of messages from clients saying, "Oh I was waiting to make sure that no one else bid on that item, and I missed bidding all together!" One way to prevent that from happening is to put all the bids up at one time. THAT way, you'll put your bid up on the print when you decide you want to own it!

I offer 2nd chance bids, since these open prints. Bid on the print as soon as possible. YOU WON'T LOSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE IT, even if someone else outbids you! You'll get a message from me AFTER the closing bid, offering you to purchase the print at your bid price. SO... bid early to get the lowest price!

ABOUT THE PRINTS:
I'm using a very expensive photo lab in my area for your prints. They've asked me to standardize the print surface, either "glossy" or "matte". They can make the printing faster for me, by not having to switch papers in the machine each time.

For that reason, I'm standarding ALL of the prints to (what they term) "MATTE" surface. The truth is that it's not really what I'm used to as a true "matte" finish. Instead it should be termed "semi-matte", "luster", "pearl", or "semi-gloss". But the paper manufacturers have called it "matte", so that's what we'll go with. If you REALLY have to have it in glossy, please let me know AS SOON AS YOU CAN. I try to take my orders in a group to the lab, taking in ALL winning bids at the same time. Please... contact me as soon as possible so I can take your items in by themselves!

And again, feel free to contact me if you have questions or comments. I want you to be happy as a collector of my artwork!

Glenn
