Archive - February 2008 Saying of the day - 25th FebruaryPosted Feb-25-08 05:45:00 PST Hiya all My saying of the day for today is: Nothing is more permanent than change! Any sayings you want to share? Graham My Saying Of The Day!Posted Feb-22-08 05:52:30 PST Updated Feb-22-08 05:53:15 PST Hiya all I use sayings a lot! And I often think that if you really consider the meaning behind the saying, you can learn a lot from them. So, I will, over the course of the coming months, share some of my favourite sayings with you, whether you like it or not lol So, my saying for today is: Don't judge a person til you have walked a mile in their shoes. By that time, they are a mile away and you have their shoes, so who cares? Any sayings you want to share? My other items for sale Feedback and new sellers - your views please?Posted Feb-18-08 03:14:20 PST Hiya all Just wanted to get some views really Ebay, I am told again and again, is all about feedback, and the more you get (positive feedback that is lol) the more people will feel comfortable buying from you. That makes it really hard for people like me - the new seller who has not traded on ebay before. To try and gain confidence from buyers I have verified myself with both ebay and paypal, I have also added my email address to all my listings, which is not a hotmail, google or other free email account. I've also done a lot of work on 'my world' so that people know who they are buying from. So my question is, would you buy from a new seller? Or do you stick to sellers with a long history on ebay? Just interested in hearing all your views Holidays!!!Posted Feb-17-08 14:06:00 PST I was posting a couple of listings today, for magnetic travel games (essential for when travelling with kids and if you are interested in the items, please click the links below) HERE HERE Anyway, it got me thinking about where I want to go this year on holiday. Somewhere hot and sunny with lots of sand, sea and sangria preferably! Has anyone else booked a summer holiday yet and if so where are you going? Is it just me, or is it damned cold today!Posted Feb-15-08 09:04:56 PST Hmmmmmm, it might just be me, but I am so damned cold today! And its not really seemed light here today at all. Anyway it got me thinking about which season is my favourite, and I can't decide Spring - lovely time of the year when flowers are just starting to show themselves and everything looks fresh and dewy. Nothing better than a crisp morning when the sun is shining but there is a bit of a nip in the air Summer - great time to strip off and get that lovely golden brown glow! Its just a shame that our summers seem to be so hit and miss! I love sitting out in the garden late in the evening, or getting the occasional chance to pop to the local pub for a cold sharp drink when its really hot Autumn - don't you just love the scenery when all the leaves are falling? Autumn in the UK is quite often better weather than the summer season these days! I used to love autumn as a kid, piling up all the leaves I could find and then leaping into the middle of them lol Winter - dark nights and cosy fires and candles at home. Love arriving home to see the fire on, some candles lit and to be able to get warm. And I love the snow! Although we don't get the amount of snow these days compared to when I was a kid! So, if you are reading this .... what is your favourite season and why? My very first blog!Posted Feb-14-08 13:07:08 PST Updated Feb-14-08 13:08:36 PST My very first blog! Not sure where to start really, just spent the last couple of hours creating My World and setting that up, need a strong drink now lol. Anyway, I will keep this one short, but would love some feedback on the information I have put on My World so if you get time, pop into my guestbook, say Hi and tell me what you think. Thank heavens its Friday tomorrow!
