Feedback and new sellers - your views please?

Hiya all

Just wanted to get some views really

Ebay, I am told again and again, is all about feedback, and the more you get (positive feedback that is lol) the more people will feel comfortable buying from you.

That makes it really hard for people like me - the new seller who has not traded on ebay before.

To try and gain confidence from buyers I have verified myself with both ebay and paypal, I have also added my email address to all my listings, which is not a hotmail, google or other free email account.

I've also done a lot of work on 'my world' so that people know who they are buying from.

So my question is, would you buy from a new seller?  Or do you stick to sellers with a long history on ebay?

Just interested in hearing all your views

I would buy from a new seller gmb if all the fb they have is pos. Hang in there and your fb will come. Good luck. :)

I would buy, but you should try to buy a few inexpensive things to get your feedback up.
Buy a few ebooks that have resale rights and list them, stuff like that, the more feedback the better!

Try a low starting bid, being aware of the fact you could sell it for cheap!

Hi, I would buy. You should click on the "security" at the bottom of the page. Take a tutorial about staying safe on ebay. One of the tips is not to give out your personal email (check do not show my email, etc.) It's very helpful and tells you about ebay toolbar. I also satred out my first 5 fb buying inexpensive items. Yes I would buy from a new seller. With the new feedback coming soon. I have lost my fatih in the feedback system.
