Family Picture

We had a wonderful time at Mary Jo's this weekend. All of us were together again. Something that doesn't happen often now. I put the picture on my bio. In the pic from right to left starting at the back are: Justin, Mary Jo (and Olivia, in ureto), Devan and Jesse Front row: Tom, me, Spence and Tristina. I've got a good looking bunch of kids. Can you tell which are ours and which are the in-loves? Tom was supposed to help Spence and Justin hang drywall on Friday while we girls went shopping, but Thursday morning, he slipped getting out of the shower and banged up his leg pretty bad. We went to the hospital for x-rays and everything. They put a brace on it and sent him on his way. Apparently it's a torn muscle. He's able to walk slowly with the brace, but it just collapses with out it. (Some people will do anything to get out of hanging drywall!) I was glad he did this down there where he had 3 boys to help him up! He'd have had to lay on the floor for along time had we been home. When we got back he decided to try driving and did all right. This has slowed him down some and I think that's just fine. He's slept most of the last 3 days and he's only had one pain pill so I think he's just exhausted. Farmers. Mary Jo put a Cornish hen in the turkey. We tried to convince Tristina that she had cooked a pregnant turkey, but Tristina wasn't buying it. Shucks! A year ago she would have! Spence has been educating her to well. Jess and Devan were only able to come down late Wednesday and had to leave Thursday. I was really disappointed because Devan had to miss the girls day out, but I know Jess didn't mind missing the dry walling party! Mary Jo took Tristina and I to the city to go shopping. They have a wonderful Hobby Lobby and I never knew that Jo Ann's was such a huge store! We also hit Target, Bed Bath and Beyond(?), a salon hair product place and a pasta place for lunch. My feet are still recovering. I think we had alot of fun, but Tristina is pathetic. Less than 2 hours into the trip, she's on the phone with Spence ... "Oh, I miss you baby..." The girl is a hoot! If it was anyone else I'd probably gag, but she is so cute about it! Spence has a gem there. Then Justin and Mary Jo took us to a bar-b-que place for supper Friday night. We all got stuffed and then turned in for the night. Yesterday morning we all picked up our dogs at the Mosley's and took off. (There were 5 dogs there. Justin and Mary Jo have 2, Spence and Tristina have 2 and we brought our little dog along to visit Tristina since she had him for several months and is rather attached to him.) Well, that's the report for now!
