SPIDERMAN 3 review (from a fan).

I musta read around 20 reviews on Spiderman and one thing I noticed is that a lot of critics missed one glaring point:
IT's BASED ON A COMIC BOOK!
It will not be a life-changing experience! (well, for me it was lol)
It is a summer action flick based on fictional characters!
I read complaints of TOO much action, too many characters, too much drama, too much emotion, too many cheesy parts, etc....

here is my rebuttal for these critiques.

1.) too much action - Okay, it is a summer movie based on a long-running comic book. Nuff Said!

2.) too many characters  These critics OBVIOUSLY never read one Spidey comic where he faces off against the SINISTER SIX, or the WRECKING CREW, or the SINISTER SYDNICATE, or any other super-group of multi-villains! Actually, the movie was probably tame for Spidey-standards!

3.) too much drama - DRAMA is the very essence of Spidey/Marvel books! Its what makes the Marvel universe tick. These characters aren't just there becuz they are; they all have some sort of tragic flaw that highlights their human traits despite their powers. This is why Peter Parker is NOT a super-powered billionaire; he remains a struggling college student in a low-rent hovel.

4.)too muc emotion - OOOOKAY! again, a nerd gains the proportional strenght of a SPIDER; his longtime crush becomes his GF; he starts to get love from the public;he lost his uncle/dad; never knew his parents; he fighs crime yet is still BROKE as a bent nail; and his best friend's dad was a maniacal super-villain! And his best friend is trying to kill him! ....yeh, I would say it is VERy emotional!!

5.) Too cheesy in parts -HEY, PP. is a nerd to his heart! Even being Spiderman doesn;t change that. Of course, how would a nerd react after being bestowed with super-powers?! They aren't gonna become studs overnite!

Overall, this movie kicked MAJOR AZZ! It is the best of the Spider movies jsut to see VENOM! And oh boy - VENOM VENOM VENOM!!! WHOO HOOOOO!  They even gave him the gravely evil voice! And the fangs!! YES!!!

My life is now complete.

1st NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.

Well I got my first negative today. I sold a Dark Tower #1 sketch for $100, with a 'gauranteed grade' on it. I also offered USPS insurance, just in case the post office happened to ruin the box. Well gueeeess what? - They ruined it!

And the guy wanted a partial refund. I told him to file a claim, recoup his loss, and he could KEEP THE BOOK! (which, btw, only had a minute dent on the corner). But that wasn't good enough for him. I tried to explain the difference between a BAD GRADE of book (based on industry grading scale) - and the POST OFFICE DAMAGING a package. Apparently this was not clear to him.

He offered to send the book back to me, but after seeing how the post office treated the packaging, wouldn't it make sense to simply go directly to the Post Office and get his money back?

So I stood firm on his filing a claim; he b*tched and complained about making a trip to the postal to get his money (wow, such hard work); and he subsequently left me scathing feedback. Which was completely unecessary, considering he could (this is funny, actually) STILL file the claim and get his money!!! hahaha

I guess you cannot please everybody...
