SHIPPING DISCOUNTS Pt. 2

Well - here is the confusing part. On the preference page (I'm there now...)

So do i 'ADD' a fee per additional item?

Or do i 'SUBTRACT' a per additional item?

This is ConFuSing!

for example: My flat rate is $3. For evey other item sold, i only want to charge .25 cents more. (The books are lightweight, no need to overdo it.)

This is what Ebay says:

The Flat rule charges buyers the shipping price for the item with the highest shipping cost. You can then add (or subtract) an additional cost for each item purchased from you.
Add combined shipping discounts to your listing and eBay automatically calculates the shipping discount when the buyer checks out. You add combined shipping discounts to your listings in the Sell Your Item form.

SHIPPING DISCOUNTS - how do they work???

Can anyone explain how I setup shipping discounts? I talked to Ebay online and the guy didnt seem to know himself! (go figure)

If my flat rate is $5, and I only want to charge $1 for every additional item....how do I set that up???  Anyone know?

Quote for today

On War....

"He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."  - Albert Einstein

I like this particular quote, because as an Iraqi war vet, I saw some horrible things firsthand. It has been said that people don't wage wars, leaders do. But the citizens die by the hundreds of millions for the whims of a few leaders.

How about the leaders -the ones who want to fight- how about THEY go fight each other? Leave the rest of us out of it!

Comic books insanely fast shipping.

USPS broke a new record today with shipping time!

I sent out items that were received the NEXT DAY! ....  Sa-weeeeet!  (not. sent. express.)

I'm still a caveman when it comes to shipping , I don't do the whole 'turn your laptop into a post office' ... i'm like 'uhhh, noooo...my laptop is my LAPTOP; YOU guys are the post office!'  Yeh... I still stand in line of the psot office with my daily/weekly sells.

But thats just moi.

Must the USPS lobby people move so unbelievalby S  l  o  w ?!?!   Its insane! Is it a job requirement to move as slow as humanly possible?!!?

But once the items get into the carrier's hands its all 'kapwing!!' and off to the races! lol

Wish they were always that fast...  ah well c'est la vie...
