SHIPPING DISCOUNTS Pt. 2

Well - here is the confusing part. On the preference page (I'm there now...)

So do i 'ADD' a fee per additional item?

Or do i 'SUBTRACT' a per additional item?

This is ConFuSing!

for example: My flat rate is $3. For evey other item sold, i only want to charge .25 cents more. (The books are lightweight, no need to overdo it.)

This is what Ebay says:

The Flat rule charges buyers the shipping price for the item with the highest shipping cost. You can then add (or subtract) an additional cost for each item purchased from you.
Add combined shipping discounts to your listing and eBay automatically calculates the shipping discount when the buyer checks out. You add combined shipping discounts to your listings in the Sell Your Item form.

No you add - so you would pay +1.00 for each additional they buy - if you subtract then they will pay whatever you have for shipping and only get a 1.00 discount

Is that want you want? that they pay regular price for the first and then say they buy 2 more you want them to pay $1.00 for each additional?

Yes - hurricane-traders, thats exactly what i want!

So when a buyer buys say...10 items, they should only pay the flat rate of $3
and then the smaller fee per item. So I will update my shipping discount to add the smaller fee.
Thanx a lot!

Hey are you on Big Crumbs? Take a look at my ME page, you can see it from there. You can advertise your eBay Store there for free. Plus, you get money back from purchases you make and other people you refer. Feel free to ask me any questions.
