Let's see...the best thing would be...hmmmmm...stamp sets...but I love everything I buy on eBay. The worst was a pair of clothes that were not in good condition at all!
best: a lot of things, a figurine for $6 that I resold a few months later for $212
worst: $125 lamp that was in the antiques category, received and it was repro - wrote to the seller and she replied I should have known it was repro cause I would not have gotten that style so cheap! HELLO, you need to put the words REPRODUCTION somewhere in the title or description, the opening bid does not mean a thing about how old an item is! Especially when she went on and on and about the great condition for this lamp, great vintage style, etc...Lesson learned the hard way, I e-mail now and ask for age if it is not shown!
2nd worst: a $15 pencil that was not what it said it was at all, they forgot to describe ALL the damage it had!
best? I've bought a lot of good stuff...from mannequins to fabric... The worst thing, I believe, was mossy oak fabric---it was listed as lightweight, and it was sheer--I'd planned on using it for shirts for Matt to go hunting with, and it's see through...GRRRRRR...adn I paid $30 plus shipping for it. Other than that I've been pleased with things I've bought.
Best: My Jeep Grand Cherokee! Got it for 2,375. 2 years ago and it's still runnin top knotch! YEEHAW
Worst: Back when I first started buying and selling in the mystery circuit bunch---I though why not, and bid on a mystery auction. Usually I have great luck on both ends w/these. What did I get for nearly 60.???? A bunch of Walmart Crain Toys. GRRRRRRRR!!!! Where's my stick!
The best thing I bought was a wholesale lot for 26.00 and resold so far for close to 200.00 still have the winter stuff to unload yet.worst wholesale lot that I bought that came late and had a lot of damage items in it.
