| Most Recent Posts woohoo!!!Posted Sep-21-07 11:58:24 PDT I am SO excited! I got accepted to help at a camp here in florida with kids with heart problems!! I am so excited, cuz i know how scary it is to have surgery and live with the problem. heck, i have lived for 19 years and i am still kickin! ANDDD i am doing a heart walk next saturday in orlando. My teams name is "Skippin Beats!" Cuz my heart use to skip beats because my valve was pooped out. Now i am skippin to the beat of life! I cant wait to wear that red hat with pride! (Red hat people are the survivors) I cant wait to inspire people and tell them that after surgery is down hill sailin! Smooth as butter.. hahaha my life is going to be crazy these coming months! i am going on a cruise in dec, heart camp in nov, colorado skiing in nov, and gosh i cant even think about the modeling gigs i will be getting cuz my body is FINALLY going back to normal! no more heart disease bloating!! woot woot!! I couldnt be any happier (well my bank account could use some help, but thats what ebay is for!) at this point in my life. I cant wait to see what happens next! Open Heart Surgery and NegativesPosted Sep-19-07 20:30:18 PDT Well, I had open heart surgery about 2 weeks ago, and now getting back into selling after being off and screwing some stuff up and getting 3 negatives. sigh. I was born with a bad heart valve, but we just found out last year. The surgery went great. I have the best doc ever, Dr.Accola. He opened me up on my right side under my breast. No visible scars. Thats awesome! I have done modeling ever since I was 12, so I was scared of the scar being a zipper in the middle of my chest. But before i was admitted into the hospital, i was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I mixed up two orders, got a negative. Then a negative from an unhappy customer and a rusted part, that i clearly stated was rusting and needed to be rechromed. O well. i guess thats what life gives you. But I am back, and hope to not make the same mistakes. Even after doing this for so long, you would think i couldnt make a mistake, but i do! my dad had to handle contacting the people cuz i couldnt even go to the bathroom without dragging a huge IV thingie and drainage suitcases. It was narly, but it makes me stronger. well, hope i could entertain you. haha |
