Just a quick post about the David Beeler Brazilian Rosewood.  My name is Ryan J Cobb (owner) www.SignatureSeriesGuitars.com.  Last fall we purchased a bunch of Old Old Brazilian Rosewood from a cabinet builder named David Beeler.  David gave me some history on the wood.  He said that he purchased the wood sometime bettween 1980 and 1982.  He knows that because he remembers picking it up several trips in his station wagon which he traded in in 82 for a new Dodge Van.  The man he puchased it from was an Army man who had collected old growth brazilian in his travels during World War II, sending it home a piece at a time.  The stash has many different color and aged boards ranging from Orange to Brown to Purple.  We estimate the boards range in age from 60-100 years and older.  It is a wonderfull pile of wood!!!!  I will periodically sell some when times are hard in the shop.  But Im hording it so take your chance when you can.
