Archive - November 2007 I miss you guysPosted Nov-29-07 09:18:47 PST Hey I'm on a 5 minute break and I thought about all my friends on eBay blogs, so I decided to say hello to you all. Gotta go back to work but will see you soon. Yes you can sell turkey on eBayPosted Nov-22-07 13:51:20 PST So people asked and I answered, yes you can sell turkey on eBay as long as you follow eBay rules when it comes to selling food. That means that you have to ship it sealed and it have to arrive frozen, or you can have it for pick up only. You can also sell the plastic (non eatable) for decorations. lol. Happy Turkey day everyonePosted Nov-22-07 11:52:46 PST And don't eat too much, because you will get sleepy and then miss a lot on tonights events. But really enjoy it before the biggest shopping day tomorrow or Monday (Cyber Monday). Generalent itemsPosted Nov-14-07 13:54:31 PST These item are from my good friends. Check them out guys. Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Why don't eBay bloggers use their pictures?Posted Nov-05-07 20:51:44 PST Is it that they think they are ugly so they add and edit into their photo. Or is it that they are really shy? I personally don't agree with using any other picture than your own, it's what god gave you. Don't you agree with me? Did any one go to ad:tech today?Posted Nov-05-07 20:45:00 PST In my effort to research marketing, I went to ad:tech New York today, and I most likely will go again tomorrow. Man it was busy there today. I wrote 2 articles so far about it at my main blog: www.GuruOfSales.com Go read it if you want to learn a bit about online marketing and I hope you enjoy them. Today I wrote about the new advertising service from SnapShot, it is good. Soon more from ad:tech Hey, how come only my books are not selling out of all my listing?
Cleaning out my closet part VPosted Nov-05-07 17:50:46 PST OK, I hope you read my previuos posts so you know what I will be talking about: Part 5 or reason 3 of selling all my things is: Marketing research. As you all might know that I blog on my main blog at: www.GuruOfSales.com and what I do mostly is related very much to online marketing and education, So I had to study the effect of eBay blogs and all I can say is WOW. Within 7 minutes from my first part about cleaning out my closet I had 1 bid on 1 out of 12 items listed, then, within the next 30 minutes I had 8 bids on 6 items. I did start all the bidding at $0.01 and so for until typing this 11 out 12 is selling. Huge traffic and subscribers to my main blog at my site for my free newsletter or to my RSS feeds, jumped about 15 readers in the first day then slowed down until I wrote again here, now a total of 62 new readers I got from here within 6 days, I am astonished. I did some stats but I will wait until it's over (More items to list for next week) But I will include my stats and how to market your business in an article on my site's blog. One more time here is all the items selling, you can watch them and find out how much it will sell for.
Cleaning out my closet IVPosted Nov-04-07 20:06:43 PST Updated Nov-04-07 20:08:49 PST Reason 2 of why am I selling everything: Change and more mobility: I was recent at a trade show and met this person that told me he sell every thing he have on eBay every 6 months then buy brand new from eBay, from his computers to his furniture or his dishes. Bright idea, I thought, and since I have a lot of things that no longer of use in my life, and I was thinking of traveling the country a lot lately, in order to do so I have to sell a lot of things. Well, here it is and more to come soon: So far most are selling for more than the penny starting price and most importantly it is selling and I am lighter to travel.
WOW. That worked well FAMILY GUYPosted Nov-04-07 14:47:29 PST Since you guys left so many comments, Can I invite you all to eBay neighborhood of Family Guy? Will you join? Read all the comments I got on my last post. Your thoughts of FAMILY GUYPosted Nov-04-07 14:32:30 PST Leave your comments about the Family Guy, What do you think about it and who's your favorite character, and if you don't like it, tell us why? Family Guy celebrates 100th episode tonight. Family Guy hits 100 tonight.Posted Nov-04-07 14:25:02 PST Updated Nov-04-07 14:25:50 PST Since I am a huge family guy fan and a member of the Shaw's eBay neighborhood, I couldn't resist to talk about today's event. Tonight Fox will air the 100th episode of family guy, a mile stone long awaited by the fans. Yahoo TV said: Sunday's episode, "Stewie Kills Lois," will be preceded by the Family Guy 100th Episode Special, a half-hour clip fest to remind fans of some of the Griffins' most outrageous moments, which have become decidedly more outrageous, more nonsensical and, subsequently, more polarizing—you're either cracking up or calling the Parents Television Council—over the past two years. In fact, just this week the PTC named Family Guy the worst show for young audiences, which along with MacFarlane's other Fox show, American Dad, puts "irreverence on parade on a weekly basis while relentlessly breaking taboos with sexual content and cartoon violence." But, as it is with many shows that are at times uncomfortable to watch (such as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, The Simpsons and South Park, to name a few), it's the envelope-pushing that comes to make it different and makes it a resilient fan favorite. Forgot to show!Posted Nov-04-07 12:44:20 PST I apologizew I forgot to show the rest of my items the second way. Here it is:
Cleaning out my closet part IIIPosted Nov-04-07 12:41:56 PST Updated Nov-04-07 12:42:23 PST 3 Reasons I am doing this, as promised, here is reason number one that I am selling everything I have: GIVING WORKS: I figured since I do a lot of giving works locally and I found out that one of my favorite non profit that I volunteered for back in the days: Action against hunger USA (AAH USA) That's based from my home town New York is now global and is more than just hunger for food (now they support health and education) also they are involved with Mission fish, eBay's portal for giving works, I thought why not start selling with giving works. So far that was a great idea and I have seen a lot of reaction for it even before the auctions ended. As I type this, all of my current listings below are listed with giving works, take a look at it and if you are not interested in my own items, then I encourage you to start selling with giving works or even start buying with giving works. Any thing counts, and remember, it will all come back to you someday. Here are my current listing with 2 ways to view it and some of them are still at a penny price. Just saying hello and any updatesPosted Nov-01-07 20:32:03 PDT Hey guys, I was away for a while, I will still write everything I told you before in my previous posts. Here is an update on what I am selling now and I will see you again soon:
