Have a wonderful and safe New year!! Time for gymmom to get ready for tonight's gig!

I hope all of you, my dear blog friends have wonderful and safe evening. My band is working tonight (20th straight New years party) at a fancy schmancy hotel playing for a corporate party. So it is time to get in the shower and get going. I will definitely see you all tomorrow later in the day unless of ocurse, my puppy wakes me up before 8am which is pretty likely. Have fun tonight!

My non paying bidders, notice not bidder, but BIDDERS, drama continues :(

She starts with a big sigh. Well, last night I posted about 8, count em 8, npb's since the 17th of Dec. Over 700 bux in sales too. Doesn't make for a smiley seller. I decided to send out a rather short rude email to these folks last night since all have npb disputes open and I have had absolutely no communication from any of them. This is what I said.

I don't know what is going around but there are too many people like you on Ebay. I guess bidding and winning my item and then not paying is just a game for you. Well I am a single mom with kids and this is my livelyhood. I hope you have some sense of decency to feel ashamed because you should. You non paying bidders have cost me over 700.00 in the last 2 weeks and that is almost a mortgage payment. Stay the hell off ebay if you aren't going to honor the contract you enter in to. DON'T BID IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO PAY!!!! Happy New Year.

I had one person respond rather indignantly this morning. This was a buyer with a 1 feedback who paid me with an echeck and it failed. I emailed her several times and after no reply, opened a dispute which sent her more email and more time to reply. NO REPLY TO ANY. But she replied this morning and was upset at my "lack of class" in my email. Set her straight, I did. In my special gymmomj way. Basically told her I wasn't a mind reader and if an issue arises, COMMUNICATE with your seller. Communication is the key here honey. We are not ogres. We are not heartless monsters. We understand shit comes up. But we are not mind readers either and if you don't tell us, we DONT KNOW. We can only conclude that you another loser npb wasting our time and our hard earned money. Thanks for the vent once again blog friends!! Sheesh!

Is something in the water or are there just a bunch of people bored with nothing else to do but bid, win, and then not pay?

Jeez Louise!! I have 8 npb disputes open since Dec 17th and I have 16 that haven't paid yet. The 8 npb's have cost me over 700 dollars. Only one of them is a newbie 0 feedbacker. The others range from 3 or 4 to over 20. I just can't stand it. These losers are killing me. Some of these auctions cost me 4.00 to list and that part of my auctions fees are gone for good. I just stinkin hate it. Nothing you can do about it. The worst part of the ebay experience. Ebay should refund the total fee, not just the final value. That would help a little. But having these losers bid and not pay and then to lose your fees is adding insult to injury. I guess no worse that thieves in a brick and mortar store. I still hate them. I HATE THEM. Thanks for the ear and letting me vent. I still friggen hate them though.

So if you read my post earlier about a buyer wanting a refund before returning the merchandise...

Feel free to read my earlier post if you want back story. Anyway, I told this buyer I would refund her in full for a pair of boots she purchased as it was my error in sending the wrong size. I apologized for her inconvenience and told her I would pay for her to return the wrong size boots back to me and then refund her in full when I received the boots. She emailed me and told me she wanted me to give her half her refund before she returned the boots. I told her that no money's would be exchanged until the boots were back in my hands. What does she do? She files a dispute with paypal saying the boots were significantly different than described. I ALREADY said I would refund her. I reminded her that I had 5600 positive feedbacks at 100% positive and that was because I go the extra mile and want my buyers to be 100% happy. But for whatever reason, she went to paypal anyway. Now SHE HAS to pay to return the boots to me. WHAT AN IDIOT. I just don't get it. I just don't get it. I'll say it again. I just don't get it, she says for the 3rd time with a big sigh and shakes her head!

Anyone ever have a buyer ask for a refund before sending back the merchandise?

Ok. I am not perfect. Don't faint now. As much as I strive for perfection, alas, even I can not achieve it! I sent a buyer a pair of boots and they were the wrong size. I know, I know. Line me up with the firing squad. Ready, aim, shoot the ebay seller. Anyway, I responded to the buyer immediately, as always, to please send me back the boots by priority mail and I will be happy to either exchange for the correct size, or issue her a full refund. Meaning, I will eat all the shipping costs as I was the one who made the error. I also said I would refund her return shipping costs to me as well. She emails me back and asks for a partial refund as a show of good faith. Now I have over 5600 transactions at 100% positive and she has 300 with 13 negs as a non payer. That makes me uncomfortable in neg fdbk land. I told her that I am following Ebay and Paypal protocol which is to wait for the item to be returned and then issue the full refund. I also said that if she ordered an item from Victorias Secret and had to send it back, that they would not issue a credit before the item was in hand so why should it be different with an Ebay purchase. Anyway, I hope it turns out ok. I was pleasant pleasant pleasant!!! I have not heard back from her yet. Oy.

Top of the morning from Gymmomj. Anyone have any rockin New Years Plans?

Good morning. Hope everyone got their stuff listed yesterday. I missed a few of my items but I just got tired becuase I started late. As far as New years goes, my band is working at one of the resort hotels. I have gigged for the past 20 years on New years. Wow. This New Years actually makes 20 in a row. This one should be fun. Tough load in this place though. That means they don't put the ballrooms close to any entrance and we have to lug a ton of equipment a long way. I am getting tired thinking about it. But it will be fun!!!! Wish you could all come and hang!!

Merry Christmas from gymmomj!

Hope your Christmas was the best ever. I have been blessed this year with good health, a new career, wonderful children, my mom, and my bfriend of 7 yrs. On top of that, I have met so many wonderful people here on the blogs that I am proud to call my friend. Hope your holiday was a good one!!!

Have a wonderful Christmas Blogland. You must be getting tired of saying that!

Just passing thru and wanted to see who was here. Have a wonderful Christmas!!! Be talking with ya!

Hey I have some old Marvel comics from the late 60's. Anyone know anything about these so I may sell them?

I have had this bunch of comic books forever. They are Fantastic Four mostly and from right around late 60's, early 70's. I know NOTHING about selling these. Ask me about shoes and desginer girly stuff and I can give you an educated answer. Not these. Can anyone help?

So, are you have Christmas at your place and cooking? If so, what is your fave food tradition that you have always had at Christmas dinner?

Morning from AZ!!!!! It is going to be around 64 and sunny today. Should be beautiful. I am planning to take my dogs for a good walk later. Getting back to my question. I don't cook much and tend to go out and bring food in more than anything else but on Christmas I make this side dish called corn casserole. And even though I make it several times thru the year, it has become tradition at Christmas and is deelish!! Easy couldn't be easier and all ya need is one bowl. So what about you?

Judy, anyone? What the heck happened with Frogmom?

Anyone care to fill me in. This is so totally getitng out of hand. Why are so many of the good people getting hurt here?

Good morning Blogland! Is it safe to come out and play?

Good 3 days before Christmas morning. Have a fun day of cleaning, laundry, and getting ready for Monday preps going on today. I am on my first cup o joe. I am hoping that today will bring a mellower day to the blogs than the last two. As Christmas nears, maybe a little more of the spirit will filter down to Blogland today and make the blogs a bit kinder and gentler to ALL the bloggers out there. Have a great day and be careful out there! It is a traffic jungle.

One more puppy...

I can only go to photobucket so this picture is too small. I have my 3rd dog who is Rosie. Wish i could make this pic bigger.

Here is the Tessa dog. And the Kiki dog. Steve-O.

Who spiked the coffee or the water or the milk?

What is up with all the hostility? Frickin this and fedup that. It just gave me a headache. It makes me laugh though. Sad little people have to hide and can't say what they really feel in their true identities. I will not acknowledge any of those bloggers anymore. It is a waste of my brain surgeon breath. Time to get some holiday shopping done. Have a great day my blog friends. The ones with feedback anyway. Twit, you are included in this. You are sweet.

Another blogger going nighty night

Well being on my high horse all day sure made me tired. Boy it saps the energy from you. I am not used to this at all. I will be stepping down tomorrow and joining my fellow bloggers happily chatting the day away. Good night my friends. Sweet dreams.

Tonight's special blogger is....

Miss Peggy herself. She has selflessly been there for so many of us on her biggest blog. Always there to say something supportive. Always there with kindness. She may come from a small town but she has a heart bigger than the USA. Peggy is tonight's special blogger. YAY PEGGY!!!

(((((((((( HUGS FOR STEVE-O POST )))))))))))

Hey Steve-O. Didn't mean to scare you. I just defend the people I love with every ounce of fight that is in me. I would do the same for you and all of my blog family if they were unjustly accused of scamming. Especially if they were going thru an unspeakable tragedy.

Wowwie wow! I had a fab evening of sales. Whoo hoo for me. What a pleasant surprise!

I can't believe it. I have sold 40 something items in the last 3 days. I just relisted another 30 that i was going to wait on but what the heck. This is great. What a surprise too. Last Christmas was dismal. Hope it keeps going too!! Gotta go get some stuff together to ship. Yay! Hope it was a good day for you too!

Can someone tell what is going on with Elaborique?

What is the deal? Most of you know I have been pretty sick for the last 10 days and haven't been on much. So what is wrong with Veronica? Fill me in. Maybe I can help. Thanks.
