I had a buyer win a pair of flip flops in a bidding war last Sunday.  She has 42 positive fdbks and won the flips for 42.00.  I have not heard from her at all and noticed that she has placed a bid on another pair of the same flops, same size that ends Sunday night.  Right now that bid is at 24.99.  I emailed her and told her I will need the first pair from last week to be paid for before I can let her continue the auction for the 2nd pair unless she plans on buying both but that I need to hear from her.  I have a feeling she is going to want to be let out of the first auction especially if the new auction ends at 24.99.  What should I do?

New record of scorching heat here in Fort Stinkin Desert AZ.  Today breaks an all time Arizona record of 29 days at 110 degrees or over in one summer season.  Summer is our winter here in AZ.  Hibernate till it cools off.  This is when we gain weight too (yeah yeah, sure, sure that's the reason).  Phew, thought it was because I was eating too much, lol.  Speaking of eating, My kids have a half day at school so I am taking them out for lunch today.  I am thinking Mexican.  So how is the weather by you?  Any relief yet?

Hi there.  Just driving by.  Still have a friend here for the next couple of days that came in for the wedding reception Sat night.  She is staying at a beautiful resort nearby but we spent some major quality time today.  Tomorrow I am going to teach her how to ebay.  She is in the process of moving from NYC to San francisco and has tons of stuff.  We had fun today, sushi for lunch.  Hung out and drank some champagne this evening.  I totally forgot my champgne toast at the party so now I have 10 bottles, well make that 8 bottles of Roderer special reserve champagne.  I would love to share some with you guys!  Grab a glass!  Skoal!

Fun and frolic (and tons o booze) were had by all who attended my wedding reception last night.  It was a blast.  I think we had about 60 or so people.  The first to arrive was at 6:30 and the last to leave was at about 1:30.  It was so much fun.  I sang a John Lennon song to my husband.  It was "Oh My Love" from the Imagine album.  Beautiful song, short and sweet and to the point.  He actually worked on a song for me too on guitar.  He played me "The Rain Song" off of Led Zepplin's Houses of the Holy album.  Don't know when he worked on it but it was beautiful.  So now the parties over.  The remodel is mostly over and i have about 2 weeks till the electrician comes over to finish the light fixtures.  Sure had a great time.  I will post some pics as soon as I can.

Good morning from Fort Stinkin Rainy Desert.  Today is my wedding reception.  I am ready.  Bought almost 1000.00 worth of booze last night.  We are definitely going to be in Cabo Wabo-ritaville tonight.  Also got a ton of champagne.  The remodel dust is gone and the granite looks perfect.  Now I just have to figure out what to wear later.  Got 3 hours to choose from.  The kicker?  It has been raining for more than 3 hours now.  Started thundering and lightning at 5am.  The best thing about that is it brought the temps down from 110 (holy smokes I know) to a managable cloudy 97.  So yay for the rain too.  Wish you all could come.  What does your weekend look like?

Well it is almost here.  The weekend.  My wedding reception.  I imagine you guys are tired of hearing about it.  I am tired of hearing about it.  Still tons to do like get this place in order.  I have to go to the airport in about 2 hours.  I still have to buy all the booze.  I have to try on some outfits later today.  I have 3 to choose from.  It should be so much fun.  Can't wait.  I actually had a friend call the other day about where I am registered.  I said REGISTERED?  I have my own home for over 20 years.  Registered for what?  They said for your wedding gifts.  I hadn't really given it a thought.  So I said, i just remodeled and I have to replace ALL mt bathroom accessories.  A gift card to any bath type places would be good, and of course Pier 1 is always in good taste.   Anyway, I will stop rambling now.  I am a bit of a basket case but it will be great, no doubt.

Well it is almost finally here.  The weekend.  That means my week is over and this place will be put together for my wedding reception Sat night.  Never mind that it will be me putting it together over the next 48 hours.  The plumber was here till almost 4 yesterday.  Carpet cleaner was here today till after 1.  Tomorrow I have a grount guy coming to repair my floor between 9 and 10 and I have to pick up someone at the airport at 11.  Anyone know how to clone themselves?  I still don't know what I am wearing.  i have to choose between 3 or 4 things.  Do I sound uncharacteristically stressed to you?  Can't you hear me screaming?  Well it's my wedding and I can scream if i want to.  (Wedding reception)  Anyone have some valium?

Almost time to party.  Time to buy the booze.  2 days till my wedding reception.  Can't believe I am having this party.  It is going to be so much fun.  Wish all of my blog family, can't name names cuz i know i will leave someone out, could be there.  Been a long assed day.  The remodel is done.  For now.  No more contractors.  They are finally done and outta here.  Time for bed.  I am fried.  Night.

My daughter who is 15 and been a gymnast since she could walk has officially retired.  She was a level 10 which is as high as it goes.  She broke her wrist right before the summer and wore a cast for a month.  She wasn't quite all the back from that and has been in a boot for a week now while we await the results of an MRI which will tell us if there is a break in her foot or a torn ligament.  Either way, she would be out of gym for another 6-8 weeks and already being behind, well, you know the outcome.  She has also already fallen behind in math, her 3rd week, and is talking all honors.  She has decided that school HAS to be a priority.  So I cheer her on!  

Ok, I am off to start the day.  Got a million and 1 things to accomplish.  Have a great day blog family.  Will check in tonight.

Yay!  Only 3 days till the BIG wedding party.  This is the last day, (for real this time) at least for this round of remodel hell.  The new one piece toilets go in at 11 and no more dirt making and tracking contractor types will be gone.  The fixtures didn't make it in though.  Need an electrician to move the electrical boxes and will do that in 2 weeks.  But the granite, sinks, faucets, and bathroom accessories are all in and the majority of the patchwork and painting are done!  I have today, tomorrow and Friday to get this place in order.  But the most important thing is being done this morning.  MY NAILS OF COURSE!  So i am off to the nail place for my fingers and toes in about 90 minutes.  I will leave my "friend" here to let the plumber in.  I have tons of other boring things to do to and I will bore you in another post.

Well the granite is in and the sinks are all working.  But the toilets didn't come in and the light fixtures don't fit.  So I could be having a wedding party Sat night in dark bathrooms.  No lol here.  I am tired and cranky and my knee hurts.  Get the waaaaamulance cuz i am whining bigtime.  Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!  Why did I do this remodel right before my party?  I have so much to do and I am stuck inside.  Maybe they will be done tomorrow?  Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa some more.  Sorry.  Had to get one more out.

You were all very sweet and I appreciate it.  And yes you are right.  I have had almost 7000 great buyers and that is tons more than the npbs.  But the deal with eBay is to make money and I am not making much if any right now.  My sales are almost non existant which is so weird.  Well this week anyway.  I sold a pair of flip flops yesterday and I don't make anything on those.  Those are one of my come in and look items.  I am looking forward to autumn hitting and I can get my fur and leather coats out of the store listings and back into auction mode.  I have some beautiful sweaters too.  Anyway, thanks for being so nice and listening and supporting my vent earlier.  That's what family is for.  Got the plumber coming shortly to hook up all the new sinks and toidys to go with the granite that was installed on Friday.  The place is a mess.  The countdown is 6 days till my wedding reception/party.  Can't wait!

Just what I need on a Monday morning.  A huge song and dance from a buyer who purchased a 20.00 shirt.  My husband is injured.  She cries, my accounts are frozen.  Please understand and let me off the hook.  About an hour before she placed a bid last Sunday, she emailed me and asked if I would ship the shirt in the same timely manner as the previous item if she bought it.  I replied and said of course.  She bid and won but never paid.  I opened a dispute yesterday and I received 4 emails since last night of her tales of woe.  I looked at her feedback.  She has feedback left everyday for the last 10 days.  Immediate payment.  Great buyer, you get the picture.  I think she simply changed her mind and didn't want the shirt.  I did let her off the hook though.  It isn't worth it but I am blocking her.  It is obvious it was a simple case of buyers remorse for a lousy 20 bux.  I can't believe after all this time I am really going to clear my merchandise out and be done with this.  Can't make money anymore.  Tired of the bullsh** like this.  Thanks for listening to my vent.  I know you all understand.  Happy Monday.
