Another Sunday day of rest.  NOT.  As usual, no rest for me.  I have a day of listing, laundry, and grocery shopping.  I just got up and I am already tired thinking about it, lol.   I listed about 8 hours worth yesterday and took over 80 pictures.  But after today it will be done (for this week) and hopefully I will have tons of mailing to do.  Wha'ts up with you today?

Yup.  In May.  And my p.o. told me that every year on May 1, they will rise accordingly again.  They will determine the cost of increase in Feb and give 90 days notice of the increase.  It never ends.  All because of fuel increases of course.

My daughter had to grow up sometime.  I am lucky as hell that she hasn't dated before this.  She will be 18 in 3 months.  How much more could I ask for.  Well, her sister is following suit.  Hasn't had a date yet and she is almost 16.  Whoo hoo.  I have been lucky.  I am not the least bit stressed.  It is as it should be.  A beautiful girl going to her senior prom with a really nice boy for her first date.  Anyway, they are going in a party bus with 26 others.  Should be loads of fun.  

I am my wits end and don't know how to handle it.  What does one do in this sitch????  Seriously, my daughter got asked out for senior prom last night and accepted.  This is also her first date and we are both excited.  Funny thing is she is gorgeous and a model, but has had no intereset whatsoever in dating.  She says all the boys in her high school are retarded.  I have been quite happy about all that too of course.  Once the boy drama starts, your life is never the same.  Anyway, we got a killer dress and need to get it altered later today.  She is a size 0 and it is impossible to find a long dress so small.  We were lucky to find a size 2 that wasn't totally swimming on her.  Here is a pic.  So here we go.  The ride is going to change.  I think I would rather be painting Seasame Street like tru.  Here we go.......

No such luck EVER for me.  I am staring at 8 large brown boxes that each contain about 15 pairs of shoes and another 6 shopping bags with handbags and assorted clothing.  I need to inventory everything, get pics, and list.  Doesn't sound like a restful day at all. 
I had a great gig last night.  The peeps danced from the first song to the last and loved the band.  The band feeds off the people and people feed off the band.  The way it should be.  But my little dog was up at 6:45 today.  I got her to lay down for another 45 minutes but that was it.  She was up and wanted breakfast.  And now here I am here on the blogs.

I am off to the showers and have to leave for giggage at around 1.  It is 10:45 now.  Gotta move.  Be nice folks and behave.  

The reason they are nasty is they want attention.  By responding to his/her ugly posts is giving them exactly what they want.  PLEASE STOP DOING THAT AND IGNORE THEM.  If they get no response, eventually they will stop.  They attention whores and will get it by being nasty.  They are not worth your breath.  Dee can take care of herself and she doesn't give a crap what this other loser says. 

Hope you are all well.  I have another gig today/tonight with my corporate band.  We are actually playing a wedding which is something we don't do often.  But we met these people at a gig we did for their country club.  They are also in their 50's so there is no psychotic bridezilla in the mix.  This will be just a fun time.  We are almost guests. 

If anyone was following my other saga, that has worked out too.  The broken guy is not quitting the Beatles project which is good for now.  I still want him out of it but he needs to quit on his own terms, not because of me opening my big mouth.  Then no one can put the blame on me and be pissed and quit too.  We have all put so much time and love into the project and we have something speical. 

So it should be a good day.  Yay!

It was bound to happen sooner or later.  Now one of the guitarists in my new Beatles band quit.  He is kinda broken anyway and I would prefer to not be subjected to him but this is not the way i would have liked it to happen.  Now another guy in the band who is major mellow is pissed at me too.  I have apologized (of course it is all my fault and it doesn't matter that I have been goaded into it for months on end) and I don't know if it can be fixed.  Considering we have 2 gigs in April, I hope it can.  But even if it is, then I have to play with the broken unit.  Did I mention the guy who I totally insulted has been friends with my husband for 35 years.? Oops.  Big sigh..................

Good morning Sunday bloggers.  Well as you all know, or some of you know, my new Beatles band had its maiden voyage this past Friday night.  It was wonderful.  We packed the place and the waitresses told us it was their biggest night ever since they have been open!  Amazing.  The place has been open 8 months and they have been having music on the weekends for about 3 months.  It was so much fun.  We had 28 people sign up for our band email too.  Now it is time to get that website going!!!!  I came down with a cold though Thurs night, (it figures) so I am feeling pretty fried.  My other band played last night so my voice and me are going to totally chill today!!  Ahh, success.  Wish you all could have been there! It was a splendid time!

I just had an irate ebayer send me 2 emails.  She was pissed because Canadian customs charged her a duty fee for the boots she purchased from me.  I sent her a very polite matter of fact email that I have no idea how and why her customs charges fees and that sellers from the U.S. are not responsible for them.  I get another email from her before I mail the one I just told you about and it said,

"I want my extra money reimbursed or I will be contacting ebay and leaving you a negative feedback."

Nice, huh???!!!!

I replied, ok now the gloves come off.  Leave me a neg and I will leave you one right back.  GROW UP!!

So have I missed anything?  Been crazy busy as usual.  Was supposed to go to my daughters college orientation today but we both dropped the ball.  She didn't read thru what she needed and she is missing a few things, oops.  So we opted to do it in June.  Oh well.  I have been consumed with the debut of my Beatles project this Friday night at a local club.  We will have a local mag there taking live pics and they are doing a two page spread on ME and all my life stuff, including and especially about MARMALADE SKIES, our Beatles band in the April edition.  We have rehearsed at least 3 times a week for the past 2 weeks.  Anyway, ready or not, (most definitely not), Friday night, here we come.

Just got my edited band pic and it is awesome.  It is a take off on the Beatles Meet the Beatles album.  I am so pleased with it.  Can't wait till the website is up and going.  Yay!

Been a few days since I have been here.  Been busy with ebay stuff and withg etting my band, Marmalade Skies debut this coming Friday night.  We have been rehearsing rehearsing rehearsing.  We will rehears tonight, tomorrow, and Wed.  We will set up Thurs night and do a sound check.  Then Friday is the gig.  Look out.  New Beatles trib band is almost ready.  And as soon as the demo is done, we will set it up on youtube.  Here is a pic of the band.
