New work this week...

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to let my collectors know what's going on this week. I have started several signs. I'll be working on 2 more "Bless this Barn" signs: a TWH and a Palomino QH. I also hope to finish a few more ACEOs. I have a nice one started with a butterfly foal in a pasture.
I am also working on 4 Halloween bowls. I purchased the bowls at an estate sale this weekend so I think they are old. They are wood and were hand made in Japan. I am having so much fun with the Halloween. I usually only paint for Halloween from August - October so I'm having a blast getting an early go at it. It's always been my favorite holiday.
This week should be very productive for me. My mother in law is coming every day to help with Zoe so I can focus on painting as much as possible. We are planning on buying our first home by the fall and we need to save as much as we can for the down payment. It's been nice living here on the farm but since our family has grown we are running out of space. The most exciting thing about buying a house is that I can finally set up a real studio and get back to painting in oils. Can't wait! I have so many ideas floating around in my head.
A big thank you to all my recent customers who are helping us get closer to our goal!

Coming soon...

Just wanted to let my customers know what they can expect to see from me soon on ebay.
Today I finished a Belgian Horse welcome sign. I really like this one. Hope you check it out. It will be on ebay today or tomorrow.
I am also going to be painting a Tennessee Walking Horse sign and I have started two dog ACEOs.  Both dogs live here at the farm. One is a young yellow Lab named Shauna. The other is a Border Collie cross named Sasha.

1st blog

Hello and welcome to my first ebay blog. I have been wanting to write one for quite some time but a one year old daughter and 25 thoroughbreds have a way of sucking you dry. My main purpose of starting a blog is to let my wonderful customers know what I am up to and what they can expect to see in the near future from me on ebay. I also hope they will chime in and let me know what they would like to see me paint.
I may not be able to get to every suggestion but I love to hear them. I also want to talk a little about my newest venture - ACEOs (art cards editions and originals). ACEOs  were born on ebay a few years ago and are very popular. It is a nice way for a collector to buy original art at a low price. Although I have seen some go for well over $100! I  have been following this trend for about 2 years and finally decided to dive in. For an artist it is so much fun. I can try different mediums or paint subjects I usually wouldn't. I have been painting horse signs for ebay since April 2000 and let me tell you it can get a little boring not to mention they are more time consuming than ACEOs.
I also wanted to write a blog to thank all my dear customers. Without you I wouldn't be here. I truly appreciate every bid and hope you enjoy your sign or painting as much as I enjoyed making it. It is so rewarding to be able to paint things that give people happiness.
Thank you for reading and check back to see what I am working on for ebay (just finished a Belgian Horse and a Zebra ACEO tonight).
