Dear hardworkingmom4,

Dear hardworkingmom4,

Hi, saw your blog post and commented - I am REALLY interested in cloth diapers for my son, but I have never used them before (this is my third child). I feel hugely guilty about using disposables (as I am generally a "green" person), not to mention the impact they have had on our financial situation at present. Any helpful tips would be great -and I see you have these fitted cloth diapers, which I will probably bid on!

Dear hardworkingmom4,

well i was thinking one third boy(6) and one third girl(6) and one third neutral(6)(as i don't really like navy blue). i would like them as soon as possible. i was planing on washing them daily as i have a washer and dryer. if i would need more i could order them. if you have any ideas please let me know. also i have seen a product called snappys , do they work on your diapers?

Dear hardworkingmom4,

would you be willing to make a custom auction for a lot of 18 large diapers for a 5 month old girl and a 22 month old boy. if so how much would it be and how long would it take to do and what would shipping be? thanks Lisa

some questions i thought i should post

Here are some questions  from my auction i thought i should post.
Question & Answer Answered On
Q:  i did bid on this item i got a email that i had to bid did you send them out already or did you want to wait until the auction is over by the way how are you doing all this with all those kids pretty amazing Jan-09-08
A:  because ebay is my form of advertising i like to go through ebay to sell. this way i can get the ratings everyone relies on when deciding on my diapers and also both of us are protected. for large orders i like to make sure you are certain you will want and keep them before i buy supplies and go through the time and effort to make more than i already have listed so i ask that you to buy one via ebay first. for the larger orders (to save us both money) i dont go through ebay. I charge exact shipping for return customers. Hope this helps, thanks for the questions, Lisa I try to do all my work and studying when the kids are at school. sometimes they like to help(sometimes), they are great kids, i really am lucky.
Q:  Hi Lisa, I am thinking that a price I could afford would be $7.50-$8.00 per diaper for 3 dozen diapers. My other concern is whether I could fit these under these diaper covers: https://www.kellyscloset.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=447 Would I be buying the "extra thick" versions you have listed in this auction? Those look really good! Thanks for all your help; I look forward to the diapers almost as much as the baby! ;) Caitilin Jan-08-08
A:  I will be more than happy to take 7.50 for the diapers, like i said i am in it more for the environment than the money but believe me we can use the money! My diapers are not extra thick as you said they are just extra absorbent. I will be more than happy to send you one of the ones listed so you can inspect it if you like. I have started a new promotion...if you are a returning customer i will charge you exact shipping. I have never had a problem with any diaper cover. as i said in my auction there are three that i seem to favor but new ones are popping up all the time. my favorite is the gerber pull on ones. I have also been asked to make the doublers wider, i am flexible to user needs. Hope this helps! thanks so much, Lisa
Q:  Hi, I am very interested in your diapers, and I have a couple of questions: First, are the legs elasticized? I couldn't tell for sure from the pics. Second, if I bought 3 dozen from you, would you consider a discount? I am on a budget (baby number 6!)... Thanks for the info! Caitilin Jan-07-08
A:  Baby number 6! wow! You are a busy mom. i am glad you are going cloth, especially with your hands full. Of course i will consider a discount! my main goal is to make cloth diapering "in" not necessarily for the money. I understand your thriftiness with 6 kids...good for you. What would make you happy?
Q:  We just order a variety pack that will arrive in 2-3 business days. Can I order 1 diaper with extra absorbency with a wider doubler ASAP to try out at the same time I get the others??? Thank you, Karissa Jan-07-08
A:  of course! please bid on one and i will have it packed and ready to send out. I dont have any wider doublers made yet but i will get right on it. Thank you, Lisa

A:  Good for you! and thank you! Cloth diapers really are not that hard...actually weighing the pros and cons it evens out. When i mail out my diapers i also send out a pamphlet full of info, like i say in my auction. I send all the tips and trial and errors i have and have had so you dont have to. remember i guarantee my diapers so you can try them and see what you think. i even have a day care interested! I have to say a huge thank you for even considering cloth...you really do make a difference. Lisa
Q:  how many diapers is this auction for? Jan-04-08
A:  you are bidding on per diaper. I have an infinite supply but to save money i only list 5. i never charge more than the listed price. so if you get out bid you dont have to worry about it, i have more. please let me know if you have anymore questions. Thank you, Lisa

Are you a natural baby?

Are you a natural baby? Does your mommy need a little encouraging? Do you wish you had them oh so comfortable cloth diapers other babies are wearing? Grab your mommy or daddy (or who ever you have wrapped around your finger most) and fuss, spit up and cry until they get the hint. Cloth diapering is best! Breastfeeding is best! Natual parenting is the best! Don't take no for an answer. Stand up (or spit up) for your rights! Some times parents just need a little push.

Parents listen to your little one. If your grandmother didnt have that problem with parenting maybe you should do things her way.

One of my children had chronic diarrhea i tried everything, the doctors tried everything then my grandmother told me, "Lisa give Austin a bottle of apple juice (half water) and a banana. Stop putting all them chemicals in  my great grand child."  I swear on all that is natural...it worked! This is what jump started my natural parenting. It's honestly not hard. and if we all join and stick together we can give tips, encouragement, and ideas. You dont have to make it a way of life, maybe you need a little help with one issue or maybe you want to go natural but are facing road blocks. We all can help!

Welcome to JAG diapers

My first blog and my first entry. I am new to this blogging stuff (I know I know, way behind the times). I am hoping to use this blog as encouragement, for tips, or for anything you think might be useful to others.    I would like to say a big thank you for buying my JAG fitted cloth diapers. I honestly believe in cloth diapers (any cloth diapers). They are the most practical, healthy and environmentally safe way to diaper babies.                                                              Some argue that environmental factors associated with disposable and cloth are equally weighed due to the fact that cloth diapers need to be washed and the water, soap and energy as well as the cotton needed to make cloth diapers are equal to the land filling bulk, non renewable resources used, 820,000 tons of plastic and 1.8 million tons of wood pulp (1/4 million trees) each year, not to mention the health hazards associated with disposable.                    well I say bull! for one it is illegal to dispose of human waste in a landfill (don't even get me started on them health hazards). With cloth you are disposing your child's waste as you do your own (the way its been done for...well ever) You are washing them as you do your own cotton clothes. (I don't hear anyone saying we have to wear plastic disposable clothes). And like breast milk, it is how its been done for generations.
