well today I made my first batch of home made elderflower cordial, it is fab!

I particularly like to wait and serve my elderflower cordial on a hot sunny day with chilled sparkling mineral water, it is simply delicious. it seems I will have to wait a little while for the hot weather to get here, but I am sure it will eventually arrive!

I only use the finest citric acid, the anhydrous form, which is a delicate powder, and not only great for preserving, but also makes the ymmiest sherbert lemon too!

This is my ultimate favourite of natural beauty products, the fabulous luxuriously moisturising Monoi De Tahiti Oil.

Shea Butter - amazing natural beauty products  

Pure unrefined Shea Butter is fabulous for dry skin, senstive skin, for your body, your hair as a treatment conditioning mask! Our Shea Butters are wonderful and truely versatile and unique natural skin care products.

Using regularly our Shea Butter as a hair treatment conditioning mask, you will soon see the improvements, and is particarly beneficial for dry hair, coloured hair, or just simply out of condition hair, soon you will have wonderful healthy shiny managable hair! 

 To use the whipped Shea Butter as a conditioning hair treatment mask,

1) Ensure your hair has been combed and is dry.

2)scoop a little of the shea butter into your hands, and warm until easily pliable and starting with the ends of your hair, apply and gradually add to the top of your head .

3)Ensure all hair is covered with the Shea butter

4)  Cover your hair with a towel or wrap and leave for as long as possible,

ideally a few hours, but certainly a minimum of 1 hour.

5) Before washing your hair, first apply some shampoo, before wetting your hair, this will ensure you remeove all of the Shea Butter easily.  If you wet your hair first, it will be difficult to remove.

6) Wash and rinse thoroughly, if you wish add a little conditioner for a final treatment.

7) To add some further benefits you can add a few drops of Rosemary Essential Oil for dark hair, or Chamomile Essential Oil for light hair, these wonderful and highly effective Essential Oils, will help add lustre and shine.

Don't forget whilst you are enjoying your conditioning treatment mask, why not apply a little also to your hands, and feet as well as a deep conditioning skin nourishing  body butter.

I can show you how to Descale many household items using a safe Biodegradable natural ingredient, it is using Citric Acid Anhydrous Powder

Citric Acid is considered to be a safe Biodegradable natural ingredient which is mainly produced from Citrus Fruits, such as Lemon and the Lime trees. However it is also a natural  product from Sugar Beet

Citric Acid is considered to be  a natural and environmentally biodegradable cleaning agent and is the best natural method for descaling any item and therfore is recommended by all the well known Baby Manufacturers.  Avent advise Citric Acid to   de scale their electical sterilisers and bottle warmers.  (See their website for full details  on how to use Citric Acid for this purpose and quantities)     

Descale a Bottle Warmer or Electrical Steriliser

Approx 10g of Citric Acid powder disolved in 200ml of water, and leave for approx 1/2 hour, can be more and will not cause any harm.

Descale a Kettle

Again approx 10g of Citric Acid powder disolved in 150 ml of water, pour into your kettle and  leave for approx 1/2 hour, pour away and rinse thoroughly.

You may need to vary the quantities depending on how hard the water is in your area.

TOP TIP, include a little in our washing machine to regulary help descale the machine. 

However it is a safe natural product to use.
