Florida Officer, Suspect Killed in Shooting FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Florida authorities say a police officer and a suspect were shot and killed after police responded to a disturbance call. Lee County Sheriff's Office spokesman Larry King says there was an exchange of gunfire around 2 a.m. Friday in downtown Fort Myers. The names of the officer and suspect have not been released. Ohio Officer Shot, Killed During Traffic Stop TWINSBURG, Ohio -- A Twinsburg police officer was shot and killed during a traffic stop early Sunday morning. Officials said 33-year-old Joshua Miktarian, of Talmadge, had pulled a car over in the 2400 block of Glenood Drive near Route 91 at about 2 a.m. when he was shot. Chicago Officer Fatally Shot With Own Gun CHICAGO -- A Chicago police officer was fatally shot outside the Belmont Area police headquarters overnight. A female suspect was also shot and wounded at the same North Side location. Richard Francis, 60, of an unknown home address, was pronounced dead at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center at 2:57 a.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said. Houston Officer Killed by Suspected Drunk Driver HOUSTON -- A car slammed into two police officers working traffic control at a construction site early Sunday, killing one and seriously injuring the other, authorities said. The car crashed through barricades, plowed into two of the three officers at the construction site on the Katy Freeway and tore the driver's side door off a patrol car, police said. Maryland Officer Fatally Hit During Traffic Stop LAUREL, Md. -- A Prince George's Police officer has died after being runover during a traffic stop in Laurel, Maryland. It happened shortly before noon. Police tell 9 News Now the officer was watching a stolen car when the suspects returned to the vehicle. Police tried to make a traffic stop on Bowie Road, and that's when the suspects ran over the officer. Shots were then fired, although we don't know who fired them. One suspect has been caught, the second is not yet in custody. Police have not yet released the name of the officer killed in this incident. On-Duty Colorado Officer Collapses, Dies One of Pueblo's finest fell in the line of duty early Saturday, the victim of a congenital heart defect. Nicholas "Nick" Heine, a seven-year veteran of the Pueblo Police Department and a decorated and well-liked officer, collapsed about 2 a.m. while running between bar disturbances in the Historic Union Avenue District. Corrections Officer Fatally Stabbed at Federal Prison ATWATER, Calif. -- A federal correctional officer at U.S. Penitentiary Atwater is dead after being stabbed by inmates at the facility Friday, according to Merced County Sheriff Mark Pazin. Although details are still sketchy, Pazin said the officer, identified as Jose Rivera, 22, of Chowchilla, was transported to Mercy Medical Center Merced after the stabbing. The FBI is conducting the investigation into the attack and Pazin said his office will conduct the autopsy. Ohio Officer Killed in Collision With Truck YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- A Youngstown police officer was killed in a crash early Thursday morning. Officials said a truck hauling a Dumpster was backing out of a driveway when it collided with the officer's unmarked police car. The crash happened on Salt Springs Road near Meridian Road at about 3 a.m.

He got out of his cage and ran away...I am afraid he is dead somewheres. Poor hamster dude, he certainly had his 12 lives though. He was getting really old (like 4 years old) and constantly getting scuffed up, by his running wheel...I don't know if he finally met his match and didn't make it. OMG...Worries me to death though...Please people, I need you to feel sorry for me...I am gonna cry myself to death here... >:0(
