Accoriding to my Dave Barry calendar ( I just love the guy!), there is a World Toilet Organization  whose efforts to are to improve the world's public toilets.

He feels that this concept could be used in tourism advertising (ie insert your country here- Come for the History:Stay for the Public Toilets). 

 Anyway I digress - he points out that today is World Toilet Day!   He suggests that all take a few moments to observe this vevy special occasion and then let's all wash our hands.

There was a peanuts cartoon that I foumd in the paper when I was in college a hundred years ago,  that still makes me laugh when I think about it.

In the first frame, Snoopy is peering over a fence and says, "Oh no, the cat next door has caught Woodstock"

In the second frame, there are just cartoon symbols to indicate that a big fight is going on behind the fence.

In the third frame, you see Snoopy lying on the ground, dazed and battered, with something in his hand.   He says, "Just what I needed a fight with a 20 pound cat over an old yellow glove."

I showed this cartoon to a lot of my friends- a few did not get it, but the rest of us laughed  as many of us had charged head first into a situation  brandishing our sword like Don Quixote at the windmill.

Till this day, before I get incensed about something, i always as myself, "Is this worth getting crazed about or am a just fighting a 20 pound cat for an old yellow glove?"

Hi I am just beginning to blog Last night I read a blog that was warning people about Yamahayzt69, as this ebay id was buying thousands of items on ebay. I looked him up and his feedback indicated that everyone was pleased with him and that he was not someone trying to commit fraud. He had active items for sale and as I said all of his feedback was excellent. I contacted him and he explained that he was in a absolute nightmare situation with irate emails for items he did not purchase. Ebay is going to make it right and luckily his reputation will not suffer. If any of us sees an unusual situation like this, we should contact the member immediately. It could happen to any of us.
