We are finally done with out mega saga of a floor project!!!! It ended up being 10 times more work than we thought...carry stuff out...sand...clean...varnish 3 times...carry stuff back in that is so heavy that I think our side of the world must be out of blance: ) But soooooo worth it!!! It's feels sooo good to finally have a finished house. I just can't wait to wake up and have a cup of coffee in out new living room : ) So anyway! What do you think guys!? : ) The Kitchen! Anyway good night all it's been a crazy day sanding and varnishing our living room floor...major major project but so worth it. I'll have to post the latest pics of the finished project sometime : ) Floor before sanding!  Floor mostly sanded!  All of our posesions breathing fresh air! Anyway just wanted to sit down and say hi to everyone. It's just one of those mornings out side and makes you smile with the joy of being alive. I got up early today and went for a walk down our street. It was just amazing out. The sky was a crystal blue and the air fresh with the sun glimmering off of the dew drops on all of the flowers that were in full bloom. I think the best part was meeting the other people who were out enjoying this breathtaking morning. Everyone had a smile and a wave for everyone. What an awesome day: ) Take care everyone! Luckly my wife saved me at the last moment... after taking a picture: )   Actually we were out on a walk up the Matanuska river here in Alaska when I saw the ice packing breaking in to the thawing river. I couldn't believe the thickness of the ice so just had to jump in!(*why I'm note sure*) I was't even all the way down since the ice was like at least 7 feet deep!!!!!! Pretty cool but I couldn't get a shot down into the fissure because of how bright the sun was shining that day. Ps.
