Most Recent Posts How can ebay be so unhelpful!!Posted Mar-07-08 08:30:39 PST I just had to write something about this to see if its just me or if others have had the aame experience! Obviously fairly new as a seller, 100 feedback now though so I feel I have got the hang of it. I have bought a bulk load of MP3 players in pink (the little clip on 1GB things). I have seen hundreds of these selling, both branded APPLE products and also the unbranded/generic MP3 players like I have got. For some reason, when any auction gets to within 1 hour of ending, ebay remove it saying it violates trademark or something similar. Even though in the advert it states that this is not made by, or compatible with and apple products including i-tunes. I clearly state this is generic (same as most mp3 players) as I want to be honest and make sure people know what they are buying to save on returns. I have actually completed a couple of sales but now seem unable to. I replied to Customer Services asking what I needed to do, they simply told me to read the pages in the help section to make sure the item is allowed on ebay. I have done this twice and cannot see anywhere anything that states my item would not be allowed. I went back and asked them specifically what was wrong with my item/description/title. They came back to me saying that they double-shecked and were correct to end the listing but couldn't tell me why. How stupid is that!! They let me advertise it then, with only an hour to go (and several bidders & watchers) the item is ended and no explanation whatsoever comes from ebay, no matter how many times I ask them to help me ensure I am describing the item. They told me to check similar sold items and see the difference. All I can find is that I tell people that this item will not work on i-tunes, to save any bad buying experiences and actually improve the ebay market place! So, anyone else ever had anything similar or am I being picked on!! Blue Star!!Posted Feb-07-08 13:00:27 PST Ok, didn't think I would get excited about selling on ebay but how cool is it when they give you that blue star instead of the yellow one?!? Is it me or do more people bid on your items partially based on this? Just seemed like a big jump in page views once it changed! Roll on 100!! More items on the way!Posted Jan-24-08 12:38:14 PST Updated Jan-24-08 12:40:18 PST Now I've got the hang of this, 20+ items now availabe for sale. Yes, many of them are small and not what I will be focusing on in the coming months but a few items to add some feedback if nothing else! Got some old & new clothes, a selection of mobil pay as you go sims (all unused and unopened) as well as listing a few tings that have been making me money elsewhere for the lastcouple of years! First sale joy!Posted Jan-24-08 05:22:05 PST Wow, many thanx to cheesespeed for collecting the Pug the day after winning (it would have been the same day had I not been winning a football match!) Hopefully more successful sales to come! |
