thank you for remembering the troops young man...from a forever grateful mom of a very brave soldier serving in Iraq for the fifth time...*hugs* blessings and prayers for peace...love Chaplain Sami Mumper
I am a Hospice Chaplain Rev Dr Sami Mumper and it is an honor to meet you Lane. My son is no longer your size but all grown up. He is about 6 foot 2 inches wears a size 12 shoe and he still loves to play baseball. He was going to play professional baseball as a pitcher but decided to serve his Country first. His Dad is a Navy Officer and has served for 24 years and still does. Jesse my son felt it was his duty to take a turn to defend our Country and protect the rights of everyone to have the freedom to play baseball like he did. He serves our Country very bravely so you will enjoy the same freedoms when you grow up. Thank you for thinking of Him and all of the other soldiers who are trying to protect us all from any harm. I know your Mom and Dad are as proud of you as we are of our son. Always remember your prayers and KNOW there are many people in this World like my son and family that you have not even met yet that love you and hope the very best for you. Sending you big hugs all the way across the Ocean in Hawaii to you....Thank you! Chaps
OH WOW, that is so cool. I just read that to Lane! Awesome! A hospice chaplain! How great! Prayers and hugs to you and your son and your whole family. My husband was a Marine and a baseball player, my boys play ball, too, and love the military! Prayers all the way to Hawaii... aloha!
hello to lane from a former GI, its so nice to meet you. My son is getting ready to go to bootcamp this summer, he's joined the MARINE CORPS and leaves at the end of June.
What a great post!
Thanks for sharing tonight!
Our family is very thankful for our troops! They go through so much for us...we pray for them and will never forget...ever.
Hubby is former Marine, bro-in-law just came home from Iraq, father in law in Iraq w/ KBR. Our family loves and appreciates the troops! I'm glad to see more people teaching their kids to do the same... they will be this country's only hope!
