This was my torturing mind twister last couple of weeks ago! And now I can torture more souls to those who were not able to witness these twister. Bwaaahahhahahhahha! Just kidding!
No one has ever get the answer yet...i did gave it away before but i hope no one will look for it...please play fair....maybe you'll be the lucky one! The person who can get the answer will have a surprise gift from me!!!!!! Come now and let that mind start working.......!!!!
Scenario:
there are 3 thieves of mangoes...they were trying to steal mangoes in the mango farm in their area. but they were caught. and they were begging the owner not to let them go to jail! the first thief had 10 pieces in his sack, the second one 30, the third one had 50.
the owner's condition:
the owner said, "I won't let you go to jail if you could sell the mangoes the same method and at the same price in each sale. But the overall sale of each one of you should be $10.00 each, no more no less. If you can't do that, all of you will go to jail."
Additional condition: No giving extras...all of the mangoes should be sold in a certain price. no combining, no dividing, no sharing! Everything has to sell!
Problem:
How much should they sell there mangoes each and in what way so that the three of them can have the same result of $10.00 each?
Hint1:
One method is not enough...add one more method....hehehehe! :-)
Hint2:
they use two methods to sell the mangoes! they agreed with a certain price and method first and sell it like that, then afterwards they agreed on another price and method to sell the final pieces of what's left!
Have fun! And good luck!!!!
