| Archive - December 2007 Hypnotic Cell Phone Zombies invade New York StreetsPosted Dec-14-07 08:48:33 PST Updated Dec-14-07 09:06:52 PST HYPNOTIC CELL PHONE ZOMBIES HAVE INVADED NEW YORK STREETS .. The Zombies walk and stop dead in the middle of crowds .. inconsiderately tripping others .......causing accidents .....seemingly possessed by the mesmerizing effect of these little electronic leashes .. Slaves to the microchips ... The Zombies jabber on in totally incoherant conversations 'entranced' in a mindless cell phone call ramblings when they are at the grocery checkout counter, revealing sometimes the kind of intimate facts which ... should be whispered behind closed doors ... while maybe 2 or 10 or 20 people wait on line furiously in disbelief ...behind them ! The Zombies scream angrily into this little device from hell ... in crowded elevators ... on city buses ....hypnotized into a state of 'Cell-man-nomia' ... which is a new phenomenon caused by... "Too many minutes with not too much to say." :) And the zombie-fied drivers behind the wheels of automobiles and trucks ....are the worst offenders ....as they drive through intersections without looking ... narrowly missing (not always) innocent pedestrians .....while hypnotically embroiled in their emotions ... while ...... screaming at a spouse, their kids .... listening to their voicemail messages .....And now (sic) ..We have them watching videos on their phones instead of the road and taking into consideration .. the lives of other humans who are sharing that same road ahead of them .... (hmmm ... when did mundane phone conversations become MORE IMPORTANT than human lives .. makes you think ??) I don't know if this phenomenon is happening in your town ... Thanks to the media .. we've turned average people into rude, mind-less ....cell-phone zombies .... NO BONES ABOUT IT .. CELL PHONES ARE CERTAINLY ADDICTIVE !! Lets not make any bones out of it ... CELL PHONES HAVE BECOME AN ADDICTIVE ELEMENT in our society ... no different than cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, internet dating, biting your lip or plucking hairs .... Cell Phone use has introduced a new fear element into people lives ... Parents have become dependent on it ....and they are unknowingly instilling this fear in their children ... and we are getting reports of this .. more and more ... every day ... As concerned parents have realized their miniturized cell phone has taken them and their children over .. (I'm sure as we speak .. Stephen King or some Hollywood scriptwriter is putting the finishing touches on their next big blockbuster movie .... "CELL PHONE ZOMBIES .. THEY'VE TAKEN OVER YOUR MINDS ... THEY'VE TAKEN OVER YOUR CHILDREN ... AND NOW .. THEY'RE COMING FOR YOU !! " :) (starring Jack Nicholson ... with special guest appearance .. Jason Voorhees (Micheal Myers) and Freddy Krueger ! :) And we're not even talking about the 'Distraction Effect' How cellphones keep many children distracted from their studies and schoolwork .... Now frankly ... I'm just pointing out an already too familiar phenomenon which many of you are fully aware of ... as a working hypnotist in the financial district of New York City ... I just say .... "Keep on chooglin and keep on burning up those minutes" .... It keeps my staff and I ... working and employed as that little cellular device .. has introduced a new phletora of problems into our society..... THINK FOR A MOMENT .. HOW IT MIGHT EFFECT YOUR CHILDREN !! But for those who want a small glimpse of freedom ... and aren't interested in becoming a slave to a phone service provider .... TAKE NOTE .. HOW EASILY WE CAN UNKNOWINGLY INSTILL FEAR IN OUR CHILDREN !! In NYC, parents are pushing for children to have access to their cell phones in the classroom so they can be in contact every second when they should be expanding their mind ..... think about how this introduces dependency and helplessness to a child ....not thinking on his own .... And with no experience ... how will that child function as he grows up ... and doesn't have you around anymore ... And the fear we hear on the media from this parents concerning cellphones in the school... "What if it is an emergency ...? Well guess what ... that cell phone becomes an anchor and a full time reinforcement for that (maybe imaginary) imminent, impending tragedy (fear) ... IT GETS FUNNIER ..... I was in NY'S Time Square recently .. seeing a movie on one of those wide screens ... There was a guy .. two rows up ahead of us ... SCREAMING at his spouse .. and when the theater-goers said .... "Shhhhhhh", he angrily turned around and said "#((#((# y You !!" I watched a very huge man who spilled out of the tiny movie seat, twist uncomfortably in the seat behind this man on the cell phone ..... The man on the phone .. turned around repeatedly and cursed the crowd who were begging him to shut up ... Finally, I watched the BIG MAN behind him ... bathed in the dim glow of the lights coming from the motion picture screen, pull his arm back and slapped the guy in front of him with such a force ... intensity .. that the cell phone went flying from the guy's ear in front and launched into the air ... The cell phone guy got up ... stunned ....ready to kill ... but then the huge man behind him stood up ... he was about 6'5 and towered over the little angry man with veins popping in his neck and a look so fierce, it would scare a junk yard dog. He raised his giant, muscled arm ... and bellowed ... GET OUT !" The little man looked like he was ready to paint the white lines on the highway ...... And ran, trippingly ... out of the row ... as the big man's eyes followed him ..... And then chaos broke out ... everyone in the movie theater stood up and screamed "Yea" ... while applauding the big man ...... Talking about a 'Group Want' being fulfilled ... But you know ... the man on the cell phone is like a lot of people on cell phones .... they don't know how inconsiderate they are being to others ..... NEW YORK HYPNOSIS - CELL PHONE TIP !!! Here's a tip, that I have no clue why the cell phone manufacturers don't include on the instruction sheet provided with every cell phone ... It's a scientific fact, that every audiofile is aware of ... called CLIPPING ..... Clipping is the reason you buy a 100 watt stereo system, when you only intend to push your speakers never more that 20 watts ...... It is for those high notes ..... If you're listening to a beautiful concert piece (or Ozzy Osborne bellowing from the depths of Hell) :) ... when the higher notes are played .. if your system does not have enough power .. there is just static in the upper reaches ... instead of clarity (called CLIPPING) .... It takes more power to play those higher notes ...and to reach that higher volume ... When YOU SHOUT into your cell phone ... well .. darn .. that little battery and it's tiny electronics ... go on overload .. you're using more of that juice to convert your voice ... so the higher you talk .. the LOWER it comes out on the other end . And what do average, normally intelligent human beings do at that point ... heh heh ... They start talking louder ... and LOUDER .... and soon ..... the comment .... "I'll call you later ... must be bad reception!" :) Well ... I find that amusing ... as it plays out on every street corner at one time or another ... during the day in NYC.
