QUESTION: What does it mean if you're negatively repelled by labradorite? :(

ANSWER:
Thanks for your question. Being negatively repelled to a crystal can mean several things. First, if could mean that you just don't need that energy in your aura at this time. You may have an overload of the energies the crystal is emitting, and like a magnet, you are being repelled to seek something in your own polarity. Second, it could mean that you are not ready for this crystal's energies yet. You may need to work up to energy it is emitting. Third, it can be a preconceived notion (for example, I am not as drawn to Angelite because of a preconceived notion that I don't like the color baby blue) or a past event (whether you belive in past lives or just something from when you were younger) that is holding you back from the crystal.

QUESTION: Just a deep negative feeling, especially in my heart and in the hand that holds it. It was minor at first, but got worse after I slept near it a few times. I bought some a long while back since I read it helps in dream recall, but the only thing I noticed was a worsened mood at work and with family. That got so bad I tried figuring out what was new in my life, and when I removed the labradorite that went away. It never did help with the dreams. A week or two later I tried holding some, and got this horrible, negative feeling. It happens now with all different pieces I've tried holding, from different sellers too. I tried once to fight it, to hold one and just rebel against the feeling. I guess you could say I was stubborn. I did it off and on for several days. It worked to a minor degree, but then I was less empathetic with family. So I hid it away again.

Now it's been about half a year (give or take), and in rummaging around in a box of gems I tried again to hold a piece, and got the same feeling. I don't know anyone IRL to ask, just books that tell me it's some great calming stone, so I thought maybe I'd ask on Ebay... 0:-)
 
Are there any books, or anything, you'd recommend? Is there somewhere I can go? I understand the easy solution of just hiding away the stones. But I've always been curious, and this is very strange. A rock I can't hold, that distances me from people if I try to fight it? Like I'm fighting off 'everything' in order to fight the stone. I'd understand if it was supposed to aid in strength or courage, or something like that, where an overload of that could feel threatening, or... however. But an overload of calming? Shouldn't that just make me feel, well, extra calm?
 
Is there more about labradorite that I don't know?

Well, I can definitely say that Labradorite is a powerful stone, much more than a dream stone!

My friend likes to recount a story about this beautiful Labradorite necklace of mine she fell in love with. After much persuasion and reluctance, I sold it to her. The three times she tried to wear it, she reported that she felt nauseous, sick and miserable. But every time she took it off, she was back to normal.
 
Labradorite has many different energies and is most popularly known for its mystical connection to other realms. It is also a motivating crystal, gets your energies moving for those that are feeling lethargic. A lot of athletes use this crystal to help them with exercise. It is definitely not a calming stone!
 
So, I can't say WHY you are reacting this way to Labradorite, all I can be sure of is that each one of us is vibrating at a different rate, as are different crystals. And certain crystals will not be conducive to our own wavelengths.
 
My friend finally returned my Labradorite necklace to me, and I feel wonderful every time I wear it!

ANSWER: Thank you for your email. I have two crystals to recommend to you for thyroid problems. One is a crystal that a friend likes to use for her thyroid condition: citrine. She places the Citrine tumbled pieces over her thyroid glands, while lying down. This can be done at any time, but it's most convenient if you have them lying on your bedstand to use them before you go to sleep or right when you wake up.
 
Another crystal recommended for Thyroid conditions is Kyanite. Again, you can place raw Kyanite pieces over your throat or you can also use it in your energy body (throat chakra) as a wand, or as a massage wand directly on your skin.
 
Both of these crystals can also be made into gem elixirs and the energized water can be drunk for healing effects of the thyroid. Use the indirect method for raw Kyanite
 
To make this all more effective, remember to clean, charge and program your crystals specifically for healing the Thyroid condition.

ANSWER:  Thanks for your question. For Fibromyalgia pain, customers/clients have reported that any crystal in the Quartz series has been very beneficial to them. So, you can use Quartz, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Smoky Quartz, Aventurine or Citrine and see how they correspond with the pains. I would start out with just regular clear Quartz, as this is the master healing crystal, it will help to align your energy bodies back with your physical (the gap is where diseases and pains are created). If you have any specific areas of pain you want to work on, I would suggest working with any of the other more specialized eneregies of the crystals above.

The main thing for working against fibromyalgia pain is to get your energy bodies aligned back with the physical. You can use any form of Quartz. You may prefer to hold a sphere or wand, you may want to place tumbled pieces around your bed and body, you may want a cluster lettiing out this focused energy in your home, a Quartz pyramid for your work desk.

Since it's the month of Valentine's Love, I thought I'd share some quick Heart Chakra tips with you...

CRYSTAL HEALING THE HEART

The Heart Chakra is the most important chakra because all of the other chakras first flow through the heart before flowing in and out of the body. It is like the control system of our very beings. We want to make sure that it is always open, balanced and clean to best give and receive the energy of love – self-love, love of humanity, divine love.

When there are heart aches, we can physically feel our hearts aching. When there is joy, we can feel our hearts leaping with joy. Many of us have unknowingly allowed our heart energies to be blocked, whether it is from failed relationships, loss, abandonment, jealousy, etc…

First, determine if your heart carries more yin or more yang energy.

• Yin energy would be passive energies of depression, loneliness, disconnected, fear, any feelings of helplessness and weakness.
• Yang energy would be aggressive energies of jealousy, anger, hatred, violence, revenge, blaming others for your problem.
• If you feel you have a mix of yin and yang energies blocking your heart, use both crystals to alleviate these energies.

A few easy ways to open our heart energies with crystals:

remember to clean charge and program all of your crystals before use…

1. Program a Rose Quartz or Aventurine (yin blockage) or Malachite or Rhodochrosite (yang blockage) crystal for opening up your heart chakra. Place the crystal over your heart while lying down, eyes closed. Place two Quart points facing away from you body to allow the blocked/negative energies to be released from the heart.
   
   
2. Glue a Rose Quartz or Malachite crystal onto an Agate plate. Place it over your heart and vibrate it into the chakra with a tuning fork (best if someone else does this for you)
   
   
3. Surround your body with Obsidian (for both yin and yang energies) to make a  crystal layout. Hold two Obsidian pieces in your hands and place one over your heart. Allow the Obsidian to absorb and transmute any negative energy blocking your heart. Obsidian is excellent for letting go of old, unwanted thoughts and patterns to open you up for future progress.
   
   
4. Pendants and Necklaces worn over the heart are an indirect method of opening the heart chakra when you are busy in daily life. Just remember to focus it to work for Heart balance!

QUESTION: I was wondering if you do healing grids. How do you charge the grid each day? Any information would be helpful.

ANSWER: Hi, we do healing grids but don't charge them every day. If you're doing a house grid, you don't need to charge but once a year, depending on how much negativity they are absorbing. If you are doing one around yourself for healing, and if it's been a major emotional release, then make sure to clean and charge (well, you should definitely clean the crystals after every active healing use in any case) them, but if it's just for a calm, relaxation grid, you only need to recharge them maybe once a month.

Again, like all energy heaing, it's up to your intuition/instincts.

QUESTION: Hello, Are there any chips or uneveness in the facets of the star?

QUESTION: This is a rather strange question, but on the description and pictures the item is listed as "baby blue." I did some research on "dark angelite" to see if it existed and I found out there are such variations in color. ANSWER: Kwan Yin is a highly revered manifestation of the Buddha who is the embodiment of the yin principle. She is usually represented as a young female deity but she has the power to assume whatever form necessary in order to carry out her vow: to lead all sentient beings out of suffering.

Kwan Yin comes in many poses and representations. Sometimes the goddess is holding a vase which represents her pouring compassion over our world. Sometimes she has a lotus in her hands or is sitting on a lotus blossom to represent purity growing from a muddy world. Sometimes she is holding a rosary to represent her devotion to Buddhist tenants. Sometimes she holds a willow branch to symbolize adaptability without breaking. Sometimes she has a thousand arms with a thousand eyes in her palms to be able to see and stop suffering on earth.

Whatever representation she is carved, Kwan Yin reminds us that we are not alone in our quest to spiritual enlightenment.
