ANSWER: Hi, thanks for your question. For communication and self-expression, I recommend Turquoise or Aquamarine. It is best to wear these right at the throat. As for curing anxieties and stress, Moonstone, which gives a very calm, feminine energy, is best! If it's to calm the nerves like before a big speech, you can also try Fluorite slabs, which you can rub and keep in your pocket. Fluorite is great to calm the nerves in these kinds of situations. Moonstone is a great serenity stone in all areas of your life.

QUESTION: Hi, could you please explain how you open blocked chakras with generator. And why the aura wand can not do it. I highty appreciate you answer. Thank you.

ANSWER: Hi, thanks for your question. The generator is made specifically for focusing energy through the tip and feeling comfortable in your hand for long periods of time. In theory you can use the aura wand as a generator to generate and focus energy as well, but it's just not as practical if you're going to be doing regular healing sessions. There are many ways that these generators and aura wands are used, but I will tell you how I use them for crystal healing. After determining which chakras are blocked with the pendulum, I will spend 2-5 minutes on each blocked chakra with the generator. Using an aura wand would take a toll on my wrist, I feel that the generator is much more comfortable (especially since I use a large aura wand for healing clients). It is also made so that all the facets will collect energy while dormant. When I place my own energies, the energy of the crystal will polarize to the tip. The aura wand is great because it can scan a large area (aka: your aura) of energy at one time. Theoretically you can also use a generator for this, but the aura wand is specially designed for this purpose with the one large crystal in the middle, the ball and the tip and the sterling silver around.

In conclusion, all crystal tools are interchangeable and can be used for a multitude of purposes, depending on what you want to do. You will find your own comfort level with different tools. I suggest you give each one a try and see what you think of them personally. Some people prefer to have many tools around them for different purposes and some people prefer only one or two crystals to work on everything.

QUESTION: Hi Sheila, what does it mean when a wand breaks?  My husband only held the wand once as he was looking at it when he returned home from his flight.  He handed it to my 9 year old who  I think was trying to "bend" the Fluorite wand and it broke in his hand.  My daughter wants to clue it back together as it was a pretty clean break.  Should we just  bury it in the yard,  returning it back to earth? Or is it still usable?  Or did the wand do the job and is no longer needed?  Any thoughts would be appreciated, especially for the kids who were crushed that it broke!  Thanks so much for answering my questions...again! 

ANSWER:

When a wand breaks, energetically it means that your husband is either done with the crystal or that his energies are too strong for the crystal to deal with. Judging from what you were telling me, it sounds like he is going to need something stronger for his own energies. I have had some clients whose wands break right in their hands while doing healing sessions because of the client's energies gets to be too much for the crystal. In this case, I recommend they use something more powerful and bigger in size. Also, to switch out and experiment with different crystal types because not every crystal is meant for every person's energies.

QUESTION: Hi.  I'm hoping you can help me.  I received an amethyst wand that looks just like the one you sell in your on-line store Item #380016872091.  It has a clear quartz pointed tip and an ovalish rounded top.  I'm not really sure how to use it.  I am a Reiki practitioner and would like to understand what it can do for my clients in addition to the Reiki I pass to them.  According to your instructions it's called an aura cleansing wand?  My husband purchased it for me as a gift.  It was supposed to have been made by someone in Florida, but I don't know by whom.

Is it an aura cleansing wand?  Are all of these wands the same (not to offend, please)?  What is its purpose exactly?

Hi, thanks for your email. There are two ways that we as crystal healers use these wands. However, different energy healers use it in their own ways. I will tell you how we use them:

Two main ways to use an "I Dig Crystals" Aura Wand:

1. Cleansing your Client's Aura
Maintaining a clean energy body is a vital part of living healthy.   Again, if you or your clients and friends have never had an aura cleaning, make sure to inform them that some negative feelings or emotions may be stirred up at first, but the energies will be cleared within a few days and then they will feel a lot better.  Aura cleansing can be done as often as desired.

Aura Wands can be used to clean the aura of a friend or client, but not for you to do on yourself (consider it as a self massage, it's just not as effective!).  Your client may be lying down or standing up for this procedure. 

Hold the wand sideways in your giving hand (right hand if you are right-handed and vice versa). Focus your intent to clean your client's aura. You client should be relaxed and breathing properly. Scan the aura field up and down slowly, sweeping away negative energy.   Make sure to scan the front, back, and sides of your client, as the aura surrounds the entire body up to 3' from the physical body.  Repeat until the energy is clean. This can be done at least one time with a large Aura Wand and at least 3 times with a small Aura Wand.  Your client may feel physical, mental, or emotional sensations during their crystal healing session.  Many people have compared the use of our Aura Wands to 'vacuuming away of dirty energy', whereas other cleansing methods, like Reiki, feel only like 'sweeping away' of negative energy.  This is because crystals can intensify human energies by hundreds of times. 

2. Cleansing and Activating your Chakras
Clear Quartz Aura Wand wands are also designed for you to clean all your own chakras using sun energy.  Other crystals work specifically on certain chakras.  Simply go out into the morning sun (when it's not too bright and blinding).  Point the tip of the wand to your third eye (not touching the skin) and the sphere-end towards the sun.  Close your eyes and allow the sun energy to shine through the ball end. As the sunlight enters and travels through the crystal, the energy is polarized through the clear Quartz wand into the seven colors of the chakras. The spectrum of the sun corresponds with the colors of your chakras, and each ray will clean and reenergize the corresponding chakra.  This may be done for 5-10 minutes a day, for as many or as few days as you like. It is still recommended that you have a crystal healer or a friend use a generator to open your chakras if they are severely blocked.

ANSWER: Hi, people who work with cancer patients like to use Selenite a lot for cell regeneration. I would suggest a Selenite sphere, egg, wand or tower (which I don't have up at the moment). You can also try Rose Quartz if you are looking to strengthen the relationship aspect. Moonstone works well on all the female reproductive areas.

QUESTION: Hi Sheila...one more time! My husband flew in from (work) Lihue this morning. Before he left on Saturday I gave him a Black Tourmaline to keep in his pocket to ward off any negativity and electromagnetic smog from the cockpit. His shingles was only on his left side and not visible. He kept the Black Tourmaline in his right pocket. This morning he had a small shingle rash on his right side exactly on the site of the right pocket! Shingles only travels the nerve pathways usually on one side of the body. Isn't this bizarre! I told him that I must not have cleansed the stone properly (my daughter and I put our crystals out during the last full moon) or the Black Tourmaline must have sucked up so much negativity. QUESTION: Thank you. And can you suggest something for my husbands cousin she lives in Colorado and lost her husband last year. She is into crstals and healing somewhat but she is so sad all the time. She just turned 50 thats who I was thinking about getting the copper wand for, but if I spent too much money on her she gets even more upset.
