Drawn to Tigers Eye Energy?

QUESTION: I'm drawn to Tiger's Eye a lot.  Does that mean anything?  ^_^  I have to clear it often though, because otherwise it gives me headaches.  I just use the simple method of running it under tap water and setting it on my windowsill.  I've heard tell of how the sun is good for them and the moon is bad for them, and how the moon is good for them and the sun is bad for them.  So I gave up on picking one and just leave them out there for a full 24 hours (or more) to make sure it gets BOTH shining rays.  :D  It also gets some wind and sometimes some rain.  Once a week, or month, whatever seems right, they also sit on geodes.  Then the geodes get the water/windowsill treatment sometimes too.
 
I remember when I was very little, maybe five years old, I was in a gift shop with my mom after some field trip or what-not.  She said I could pick a toy, and after only a few minutes I was drawn to these bins of colored stones.  I quickly settled on the bin of pretty gold/brown Tiger's Eyes, and then spent about ten minutes picking a favorite.  I was so little and knew nothing about metaphysiology... NONE of my family practice it; some of my relatives even think it's the devil's work!  I have no neighbors or nearby friends to ask questions, and the online friends I do have are more into astral travel than simple things like stone energy.  I came across the whole concept in trying to pick a research topic for class one day, and one of my online astral travelers had been talking up a storm about his latest 'adventures.'  Hehe... I quickly learned I have absolutely zero abilities in that field, and that alchemy scares me.  It's mostly that alchemy takes someone who really knows what they're doing, apparently, or my bits of research tell me that horrible, awful things can happen to those who make mistakes.  With no one around to teach me, why bother dabbling in that, I figure?  After a few years of my book and internet research, I've settled on stone energy and dream interpretation as my favorites.  I used to like runes since I could consider them art, and I like art, but some of them have some rather arcane methods to activate them, and most have to do with blood.  Blood doesn't creep me out, but how can I show some bloodied carving to a friend or relative and have them not raise a brow?  Plus, blood is acidic and will eat away anything I put it on.  xD  Now there's a definite drawback!
 
Anyway, I've still got that stone.  Until the research project (many many years later) I had no idea why I liked it so much, or why I'd had to have it.  Off and on I'd find it in my room, set it somewhere near me, then want to be rid of it in a few days and somehow lose it again.  This happened so often, but nothing clicked in my head until all this research, that finally told me all I had to do was clear the crazy thing.  Now I keep that piece on a dresser and use a handful of more recently purchased (and less special, incase I lose them) pieces for carrying.  :)  Woohoo!

If it's giving you a headache, it's absorbing too much negative energies, and you are right in cleaning it often. Whenever doing any kind of healig work, always clean after each use so you're not harming the crystal or yourself. Both the sun and moon have different effects on the energy of the crystal. We use the sun energy for active physical healing and the moon's energy for a gentle psychic energy. So, either one is fine, just depends on what you are looking to achieve. Both sun and moon is even more powerful!
