Good to be back

I put down my beads last October, as a new job seemed to be taking, what I thought, was all of my time.  Work...work...work, and no play.  I didn't realize that what I was doing for "Fun", was feeding my creativity at work.  I picked the beads back up a couple of weeks ago, and began to post again to ebay, and voila! the creativity at work exploded!  I still do this for "Fun", and ~IF~ I can pay for some of along the way, the better the ride.  Nice to see all the new bells & whistles on ebay that makes things easier.  My new challenge...facebook.  I just signed up.  We'll see where this road goes.  It feels good to be back!

WholeSale Handcrafts

To make room for new creations, I have discounted many of my listings to unbelieveable low prices. I have some great new jewelry to show you when the Valentine's Sales are over.  I am making many new items using lots of copper beads and findings.  I have found some eclectic glass beads that are facinating.  And gemstones are still the foundations of many of the handcrafts I sell.  Get some great deals and save lots of money during these sales.  The new silver prices are much higher, and prices are not going to be this low again on finished jewelry.  This is a great way to put a few new jewelry items in your display case if you are a shop owner.  These are great gifts for wedding attendatnts if you are on a budget.  Buy them now for gifts you know you will be giving throughout the year.  These wholesale prices won't be available much longer.  Thanks everybody, for looking.  Many thanks, for buying.

Heavenly iolite

I had one of my most prolific days in the studio yesterday.  I will be posting some of the new things later today here and as soon as my web master husband is ready to devote some of his day off to my website, I'll put some of the new things there.  Somewhere in the course of the day, I grabbed what I thought was obsidian.  But as I picked up these packages of beads, I was inspired to go outside, pour them in my hand and gaze at them in the sunlight.  And viola! they turned out to be iolite.  My hands couldn't bead fast enough.  The beads almost jumped into my fingers to be placed on the memory wire.  After reading about iolite this morning, it makes sense.  For me, it is a guide. It is said to show you the path that you should be on.  I was getting inspiration the whole time I was working with it.  And I am glad I still have enough left to make myself something to keep...for a while.

Howlite Dreaming

Howlite beads, Swarovski Shadow Crystals, Blackstone...they have all been dancing around in my head for days.  So, this morning I will sit with them and see what beautiful bracelet creates itself.  I just read that howlite is important for anyone who creates, not just beaders.  Artists, songwriters, builders...sit down...and start to play with your medium...I'm off to play with this persistant howlite.
