Why Do We Make It, And Keep It In The USA !!!

*Product Quality

The Best made American items are much better products than our cheaper overseas suppliers. American made products use tighter stitching, and more detail in the products. "If you can get it cheaper from overseas, you get what you pay for."

*Manufacturing Processes

This is important for the food items like treats and rawhide chews, US made products are safer and more palatable. Foreign products are often treated with chemicals and dying agents. Of coarse with the resent pet food recalls it is apparent pet food is not as regulated as products labeled for human consumption, and get less attention with federal and state regulations.

Collars, Harnesses and Leads, Oh My!

The Domestic Cat utilizes over 500 muscles and 233 bones in its body-a perfect combination for agility and speed. Its well developed sense of balance and its extraordinary reflexes and movements captivate us all. Its powerful leg muscles enable it to reach running speeds of up to 25 miles per hour. The domestic feline is also an extraordinary predatory hunter, able to prowl noiselessly. Any one of these traits presents a reason to try to control and Protect the domestic cat in human, sometimes not-so-safe environment. This is usally best accomplised with collars, harnesses, and leads.

Cats, Much like Dogs, should wear collars for practical and safety reasons.

FACT: Cats can wear collars safetly if fitted properly.

All cats should have proper identification on them. Collars and harnesses provide a means of attaching a nametag and crucial medical information. Even indoor cats should wear a collar, if only for idenification purposes. Many cats have made an unexpected dash through an open door or curiously walked out an open window. Cats that are given any amount of outdoor exercise or freedom are definite candidates for collars.

Cat owners may use a collar or harness to attach a bell. Bells are an effective means of alerting un-suspecting prey of a cat's presence. Bells are also means of keeping track of the playful cat and the cat that hunts their owner.

Safety collars, such as Reflective collars, Elastic collars, and Break-a-way Collars, are Important for the cat owner whose feline ventures outside.

Harnesses should be sold with all leads and tie-outs, not with collars. Because of the potential Danger involved if a cat slips out of its collar while outside.

All collars and harnesses should be checked for proper fit and funtion. Be sure to ensure the break-away collar is working properly. Check the condition of the elastic in the collar. And Be sure to double check the tightness of collars on kittens and cats that are gaining weight. Even an elastic collar has limits to its stretch ability. Some collars, if tangled or twisted can cause strangulation.

There aren't many reasons a cat shouldn't have a collar.

Harnesses and leads are more related to lifestyle and the interation with your pet, But collars can be a lifesaver for lost pets.
