Most Recent Posts A little more about me....Posted Jun-28-08 19:49:05 PDT Well, that Bio thing doesn't really give you much space does it? lol. I'm a Senior at GCHS. I'm the Color Guard Captain for my school. I live on the mountain, and I love it dearly. I have 1 cat and 11 dogs. Nova is my oldest dog. She turned 16 on April 1st of this year. I call her my sweetheart & old grandma. Casey is my baby. She's almost always bouncing-off-the-walls kind of hyper. Those 2 dogs are the only beings that know everything about me. I don't worry or monitor what I tell them, b/c they aren't going to be telling any people I know anything. lol. I'm a proud lacto-vegan. I'm often quiet but not always. lol. I have my hyper enthusiastic moments every now and then. After high school, I want to go to college to become a foreign language interpreter, and to physically open a business. That is, I am planning on opening a store people can actually walk into. I want to study all the different languages that a person possibly can in one lifetime. I can't seem to pass my English classes to save my life, but I understand other languages quite well. I can't figure that out, but it's something in my mind that works that way I guess. The main dialects that I want to learn are the following: Russian, German, Irish Gaelic, French, Japanese, Dutch, Chinese, Portuguese, Finnish, Albanian, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Icelandic, Korean, Italian, Latin, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Old English, Persian, Polish, Scottish Gaelic, Slovenian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, & Welsh. Okay that's more than just a few, but I've got a program on my computer with these languages on it. It's suppose to be a translater thing, but I don't think it has all the modern day words on it. So, I have no idea how accurate it is, but at least it's something to get me started. Now I just have to find the time to study. lol. |
