Hi, all
Took the opportunity this past week to try out a trial subscription using EBAY Blackthorne as a bulk listing. So far, it's the best I've used. I find it easier to use and more robust in terms of features than either Turbo Lister or using the File Uploader Feed system. Missing: Prostore and Google integration. What I would LOVE to get is a decent Feed aggregator that would make it easier cross-consolidating feeds across different third-party selling platforms (Amazon.com, EBAY, ProStores, etc.).
Feeds is the way of the web but it still has a long ways to go. Truly automated selling needs a feed broker that can work out the details easily for bulk listing while helping out on the Ads and SEO front. Dealing with so many feeds is a big challenge for sellers (and not just on EBAY but overall). Currently, there's too many factors involving maintaining moving parts and no single tool (that I've found) that offers a true seller solution in a single package. Anyone who can master this space will DOMINATE the smal to medium seller online business solutions marketplace which I think is still up for grabs. Many of them are decent products but they are all flawed from moderate to extreme levels and vary greatly on quality. The bar is yet to be set and raised to the right level. I talking in terms of merchant integration tools for small to medium online businesses here, not to traffic sourcing or the marketing of storefronts for small to medium merchant exposure on various platforms (e.g., Amazon.com, etc.).
I'll be posting more of my thoughts on the 'life of a seller' and some of the issues I've found in my years of selling in future blogs.
Thanks for stopping by.
