Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek HAVE A FUN...LABOR DAY WEEKEND...I got it right this time..........Posted Aug-30-07 21:15:00 PDT In an earlier post/spam...I mentioned it being Memorial Weekend...Whoa! Was I wrong or what? I know my mind is not as good as it use to be and I do forget a lot more, but this is rediculous. I know the problem is related to not working for over 2 years. I knew the days then, because they were "paid holidays". Yep, kept up with ALL of those, especially when it involved a long weekend. Well...I am still selling school uniforms...French Toast, Royal Park, Izod, Simply Basic and more. If you know of anyone with school age children who need a uniform, send them my way. These are even good for that back-up or extra set of clothing...to stretch what you have bought new. Most are in excellent used condition. Here it is:
Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Thanks for taking the time to come by. Did anyone get this email?Posted Aug-30-07 09:11:42 PDT Subject: Feedback reminder: Ebay. You have feedback you need to leave. I just got one telling me I need to leave some feedback. Most of the ones I have not left are from people I have not heard anything from. What about you? MY Mother's Birthday..........Posted Aug-27-07 08:53:00 PDT Today would have been my mother's birthday...she would have been 79. (8/27/28). My mother died 12/5/1980, at the age of 52, after a battle with breast cancer that had metasticized. Please, CALLING ALL YOU WOMEN...if you don't get regular breast exams, please start. And, do your own when you take a shower. If you EVER feel any changes, get it checked out. My mother had a mastectomy 3 years before she died. The problem is that she had a lump and was told by an older doctor that it was nothing to worry about. He never examined her. She just asked for his opinion as a friend. Needless to say, once she saw a doctor with different problem, she showed him the lump and he suggested a biopsy. It was full-blown cancer and she immediately had the breast removed. She did well until she started having problems breathing, approx. 3 years later. The cancer was back...in her lung...scattered spots...inoperable. Within a short period of time, it spread to her brain and from there, to all parts of her body, including her legs and pancreas. She became insulin dependent diabetic and could not walk because of the pain in her legs. I watched my mother go down fast and she had to be put into a nursing home for care. She could no longer get out of bed, feed herself or take care of herself. The cancer was in the part of the brain that controlled her balance and use of bodily functions. It was awful. I was young and had two small children, ages 2 & 5. My mother had been very close to my 5 year old, taking her at least one night EVERY week and more, if I would give her up. It was very hard for my little girl to see her Mommaw helpless. At least with her being in a nursing home, I was able to take my children with me to visit her, even though she could not remember some things, like the fact that I had a 2 year old (she referred to her as a newborn). So sad, yet I will never regret the time I spent with her & my children during her illness. We did things that were probably "not the norm" because of her mental state, but she & the kids enjoyed them. Thanks for letting me reminisce about my mother. Even though the years have flown by, there is not a day that goes by, when I think of her. I was raised as an only child by my mother and step-father and she was my friend. I miss her very much. This is a poem I wrote approx. 7 years ago...(all my poems are on poetry.com (Gayle Coulter)). Memories of MomDecember Fifth Gayle Coulter
THANKS FOR THE CHANCE TO SHARE THIS TODAY... IT HAS HELPED IN SO MANY WAYS.
What's the weather like in your part of the country?Posted Aug-26-07 18:45:49 PDT It has been HOT here, and thankfully, I have had to do a lot of Ebay listing, so I have had to stay inside where there is A/C. LOL. I did go out and get in the pool today with my granddaughter. It was nice, especially with a little breeze. It is nice to have the pool to relax in...great for the fibro and achy joints! I am running a sale in my store of 50% off of selected items thru today. I also consider reasonable offers on most of the items. Today, I accepted one that wasn't reasonable, but I was just in that kind of mood. I guess it was "be nice to that person" time of day. I didn't lose too much and I needed to move that item anyway. I hope I haven't missed anything important on here today. I have had a nice day, playing with my little one and going out to eat with the family. Always nice to spend time with family. Have a great evening. Catch you in the blogs tomorrow. Happy Sunday to you...here is what I have to offer:Posted Aug-26-07 11:25:21 PDT Please feel free to put your spam here too...time to advertise a little. I spent yesterday sorting and listing...and will do more tonight. I have a few Red Riding Hood Costumes...and many other cute ones. What about a chicken hatching out of an egg...for an infant? It is tooo cute. Or, an infant sized Levi jacket? Does anyone plan to have or now have an infant boy named Jacob? I have two new items, but my daughter decided to change the name after my grandson was born...these are handmade...bought at a festival craft show.

Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Hello Bloggers!Posted Aug-24-07 19:12:21 PDT What have I missed here today? I spent the day trying to reorganize things I have to list on Ebay. OMG! I will be busy for the rest of my life! Yep, I have 2 beds that are full of items that need to be listed. Not so sure where we are going to sleep, unless I get busy and clear one off. It is just so hard to stay organized with this business. You think you know where everything is and then, you have to relist, one item sells and you add some more and next thing you know...total chaos! But, the bottom line is that this is a way to bring in a little extra cash (in my case, the ONLY cash for me) and have fun with people you have come in contact with. It is very ADDICTIVE. Who cares if you make money. Yes, that is why I am here, but I have gotten so much more out of it than just a little profit. It is what keeps me smiling from day to day. I love it when I have several items sold and I have to rush to get them all ready for the next mail run. My packages go out everyday. My boyfriend drops some off on his way to work and the rest goes in the mail box to wait for the mail carrier. Anything that comes in before the mail carrier gets here goes with him too. And, if I have to go out, I take some with me then. It is a continuous flowing thing. I love it. I just put together another 50% sale in my store and included many items on it. I think the actual number was 161, or something like that. I just want to move this stuff, so I can put some more on. You know how it is...gotta have the funds to pay the fees. Yes, they sneak up on you if you are not careful. Well, that is about it from Lil Angel's Closets view. I hope everyone will stop by and check my items out and keep watching for more to be added. I have some really nice children's fall & winter dresses to get on eventually, along with some lots of children's clothing for fall & winter. Have a fun, safe weekend and enjoy yourself. By the way, who watched On The Lot? I was there in front of the TV every week, cheering on the runner up, who is from my hometown, Winchester, KY. Jason Epperson is a great young man, a good Christian boy with family values. I know several members of his family, including his dad and uncle. I am so proud of him and hope he will do well in the business. He has done some videos for groups like Sawyer Brown and has made many videos for his church. It has been a big hobby for him! My daughter said that tomorrow is Jason Epperson day in downtown Winchester. The town is really proud! I am sure there will be lots of Ale8's going around too. Now there is one you might not have heard of! Catch ya later! Before you say anything...Posted Aug-24-07 08:46:20 PDT Think about what you are saying and who it might affect. How many times have people had their feelings hurt because someone said something that was taken personally? It may not have been meant for anyone intentionally, but it may have fit someone close enough that they got the idea that you meant them. It happens all the time. I see it in the blogs. I see it in everyday life. Yes, some people are just cruel and love to hurt others. Why? Maybe that is the way they were treated as a child. Who knows for sure? Maybe they are just unhappy unless they are belittling someone. If everyone would stop and think before they say anything, maybe that wouldn't happen. Is it really worth hurting someone? Most of the time, NO. I have seen blogs where every bit of it was nasty, cruel and "intentionally personal". All we can do is pray for those people. Obviously their lives are missing something. Why else would they use the blogs to lash out? Most of them are probably bullies who couldn't meet someone face to face and say the same things. I love people and it hurts when I see someone else hurting. This is just a thought that might help us have a better future in blogging. Thinking positive. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I hope the sales on Ebay just boom. I have had a fairly good week and I hope you have too. God bless us all. Remember to pray for our troups. I am sure that we all have or know of those who have family in foreign coutries with the Military. I for one, have a son-in-law, neice's husband, nephew and a daughter's boyfriend in Iraq. That is too many, but that is life when you sign into the military. They need our prayers. The whole world does. See you in the blogs. Oh how cute....check them out!Posted Aug-24-07 08:30:42 PDT Updated Aug-24-07 08:34:40 PDT These costumes are all running on auctions or in my store now. The Princess gowns will close in just a little over a day...and NO bids. Some are new and some have been worn one time. All are clean and in good condition. Anything I have can become a BIN item, if you just let me know. Thanks for looking. Pass it along if you know someone who can use them. Being Friday, it is time for SPAMMING your items. OK to list here. Advertisement is good in any form anytime. Have a great weekend. Be sure to check out the GREEN LIST and DOUBLE DARES wherever they are. You can find them easily by typing into the search engine on the blogs.
