Archive - February 2008 HELP! Where is the Boot Scooters?Posted Feb-27-08 07:13:36 PST Does anyone know where Roses is? What has happened to the game? Has to be a good explanation for this. I was going to buy, bid and watch but the only one listed is Chaps. Is no one playing this week? My BABY girl turns 4 tomorrow!Posted Feb-24-08 20:36:55 PST That may not mean a lot to many people, but to me, it has been 4 years of the best time of my life. This is a baby who was born to my daughter, who is a single mom. The daddy ran as soon as she told him she was pregnant and although he works 2 blocks from where they live, and he drives by hoping to catch a glimpse of her, he has not seen the little girl since she was 6 months old. He would not know her from any other little girl on the street. In the beginning, my daughter would drop what she was doing to take the baby so he and his family could see her and spend time with her. They would give my daughter money on a routine basis and all was fine. Then, all of a sudden, the calls stopped and they dropped off the face of the earth. She finally had to take him to court to get the child support started. She had hoped to work with them, just so he would be a "daddy" to the baby. That is really all she wanted...nothing for herself..only the love of his family for the child. This little girl is a doll. She has put a lot of light into mine and my boyfriends life. We babysat her while her mother worked a job from 3:30 to midnight, in the beginning. Now she is on days and goes to school 3 nights a week. Again, we keep this little one while mommy goes to school. I go to pre-school 3 days a week and get her and she stays with us til around 10-10:30 pm. She has my boyfriend wrapped around her little finger and she adores him. "Hold me, Tom" is a common phrase that comes from her at home and when we are out. He loves it! His most common phrase is: "Where's my Baby". She answers "Here I am". Anyway, for a child that should never have been, she is a true gift from God. She changed my daughter's life and has made her a much better person. She lives for this little girl. As for me, she is sooo special! She is a Granny's baby! The daddy pays child support, but it isn't enough to even amount to anything. My daughter has been not cashing the checks just to see if she can make it without it. She doesn't want him to all of a sudden decide to pop into this happy little girls life. By the way, he has another daughter who is about 14 now and is expecting another soon. This will be 3 children and 3 mothers. Not sure why my daughter thought she could trust him??? She had a bad case of mono and then, turned up pregnant. May have been a case of the medication interferring with the birth control pills. My daughter hopes to ask him to give up his parental rights soon. She has decided she and the little girl do not need him and she doesn't want him coming around saying he wants visitation. The child doesn't know him and it could totally mess her up. She is happy now and such a loving little girl. Sorry to go on and on, but tomorrow we will celebrate 4 years of the most remarkable experience that anyone could have. I love being a grandmother and all my grandchildren are special in their own ways. This one, has been a real blessing to us all. She has surely changed our lives in a positive way. Happy Birthday, Kylie. Does anyone know...Posted Feb-24-08 20:20:55 PST what "store referral credit" means? I was looking at my account to figure out what my final value fee was on some items I sold today. Two of them had the FVF listed below it, another listing with a "store referral credit". The final value fee was listed as a positive number and the store referral credit was shown as a negative number. It really reduced the amount of the fee..one was only by 5 cents, but the other was by 75 cents. Not all my FVFs had it, so these must have been special in some way. Ever heard of that? HELP. I just need to know how that works. I like the looks of it. SPAM coming thru before I go to bed..Posted Feb-22-08 23:07:46 PST I have listed a few new items...Trying to get my children's things listed...Not fast enough though...Here is a little of what I have put in new....come in and check them out.
Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Looking for a new blog template, although I love the roses...Posted Feb-22-08 08:55:46 PST Anybody into selling blog templates CHEAP? I like templates that are nice and soft. Nothing outlandish! Something that I can use for a while. Doesn't have to be St. Patrick's day...maybe more springish. Old items charged the OLD FVF rate.Posted Feb-22-08 08:53:52 PST Just thought I would share this, for those who may not know. I have sold a few items since the new fee schedule started. I was happy to see that the items that were listed with the old listing fees, earned the old final value fee rates when they sold. That was noted yesterday and today. I have only sold 1 item listed under the new fee schedule and it earned the new final value fee. Anyone else noticed anything else? Anything drastic? Not me. I love the listing fees for my store items. Yes, it costs more in the end, but I can list 2 for the price of 1 (at the old rate). Sure saves on the items that do not sell. I can now list for 2 months for what it cost to list for one using the old fees. SOLD my first item under the new "fee schedule" today.Posted Feb-20-08 22:43:22 PST I sold my first item that was totally under the new fee schedule. I had listed it earlier today and it cost me .03 less than it had cost in the past. When the item sold, the fees were .26 more than they had been. So, it actually cost me .23 more than in the past. This listing was IN my store. I like the idea of being charged less up front. I am not particularly fond of the .23 cents more that I paid, but I still made money on the item and am happy with the results. I am not really all that happy about the fee increase, but I did get a gallery listing and have had gallery listings on everything I have listed today. That gave me a .35 saving on each auction item. I love the fact that it is being given to us to use. That means better exposure. That is worth the difference that I paid today, to me. Hello to all that are left here! This is my spam for the night.Posted Feb-20-08 22:38:37 PST Have been listing little girl & boys clothing...some new with tags...others good as new! Check them out. If you need an Easter dress...may want to see what I have. Hope everyone is well. Missed DD tonight. Had to watch American Idol (addicted).

Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Is there a Penny Ante game?Posted Feb-19-08 10:06:33 PST Unable to find it right now, but I am playing, if there is. Here is my listing: STUFF BY HILARY DUFF...SEQUINED JEANS W/CUFF...SIZE 12 - 110225939585 My Mystery Auction with women's clothing.....Posted Feb-19-08 10:01:13 PST has been removed and relisted with changes made as needed. Somehow, the description read: lesbian. I did not put that in there. Not sure how it got there, but fortunately I caught it and was able to make the correction. Now, I have nothing against anyone's sexual orientation and these items could be worn by any kind of woman or young girl. My intent is not to put anyone down, but to clear this up and make it just a plain women's Mystery Auction. Not sure if there is some kind of glitch or if someone is messing with my listings. It just has me bumfuzzled! Anyway, the air is now cleared and the listing is back up. The auction is for some of the clothes I no longer want to or can wear. I have closets full of shirts, pants, jeans, skirts, etc...winter & summer...and I just thought this would be a way to get rid of some of them. Check out my auctions and if you see anything unusual about them, please let me know. Thanks... Hope everyone is doing well. And, there is more than just clothing....Posted Feb-16-08 23:45:22 PST
