It was cloudy and overcast most of the day, then it drizzled rain...still Tom's girls & their families came over and we cooked out. The two grandson's got in the pool, even though it was cold to me. The youngest said the water wasn't cold, but he was shivering...I could see that he was not exactly telling the truth! But, he is 10 and that says it all. The two boys actually had a great time playing in the water...they were actually getting along, playing together..not fighting! WOW!
It was a nice, family day. MY girls and grandchildren were elsewhere. The youngest and her daughter went to my ex-mother-in-laws where her dad probably was. That is OK though. I am OK with that side of the family!
My oldest daughter spent the day with her husband and 2 children. He leaves tomorrow. Going back to whatever base he has been training at. He will be leaving for Iraq mid-June. He has been over there for about 2 years working as a civilian. That contract ran out and he has signed with a different company. It required special training here in the states. He has been doing that for about a month now.

Please keep my family in your prayers. My daughter and son-in-law have a good relationship and it works for them....having him be away. The past job allowed him to come home every 4 months or so for a week or two. This time, he will only get to come home for a week, I think once a year. We will see how that goes.
