iPhone 3GPosted Jul-11-08 11:53:51 PDT Updated Jul-11-08 12:04:01 PDT iPhone 3G is finally here, a lot of people lining up at the store to get it. Here is some facts about it: -the price is $199, which is cheaper than the old version. -the service plan is more expensive: $10 more per month for 2 years contract. $240 more. -the phone has faster connections using 3G network. -more functions: GPS, Exchange support, more App. -Battery does not last long: some people say that from their test result the iPhone's battery power only last for 1 hour if using multiple functions at the same time. Also, using the GPS for 10 minutes could consume 1/3 of the battery. Standby time is about 100 hours. -Apple's server has problem and takes a lot of time to activate the phone for customers. -You must activate the phone plan with AT&T when you purchase the phone. I am an iPhone fan, but since there are some problems with the battery, I think I will wait until they fix it. I use the phone all day long and I need it's battery to last at least 1 day.
