As you proboley know here in Israel, and throughout the world the Jewish people celebrate the New Year. The New Year begins this weekend with the festival of Rosh HaShanna (which literally means, "head of the year" or "first of the year") Traditionally, we say a special blessing over an apple dipped in honey and wish for a healthy happy sweat year. You may have seen the traditional ornatated dishes that are used for the honey, you can also find them at our online store.
