j.alene ** Looking for my place in this world **

listing question... when you list multiple

say like "5" under a listing, you pay FVF on each one, right? One listing fee? How do those multiple item listings work?

Thanks :)

frodobagginskennedy
YOu pay a listing fee ON EACH at a slight discount I believe. and yes a FVF on each

If you list 5 things at 9.99 then the total for listing fee is what ever it would be for a 49.95 item..9.99 x 5

seems to me that you might as well have 5 separate listings.

If you listed them all separate for instance a 9.99 item it would cost .35 x 5

For 1 listings just 1 listing fee for a 49.95 item which is like ..60 cents I think

oh and one tip about doing 1 listing for multiples.it is best if you do it as a buy it now item because if you do it as an auction the price doesn't change unless you have more bidders then the items you have listed

I do some separate listings of the same, to spead out a little, sometimes one does not sell but the other does.

oh, you are right frodo. I guess for bin items, it would probably be better to do a multiple listing. I don't care for dutch auctions though.

is it done right at the beginning? is that a perk you get if you have a store? I dont have access to that but I am a peon here. lol
I just go in and manually lower my prices near the end of an auction sometimes in hope it will sell at the lower price. there is no sale icon for me to use.

dutch auctions are very confusing. All I know is that you don't get the highest bid price for your items. They explain it in 'help'.
Anytime you list multiple items without using a BIN, it is a dutch auction.

you have to have an ebay store.
I wouldn't lower auction prices at the end. Many people wait until the very end of an auction to bid anyway. Always list with the lowest opening bid you are willing to accept.
