I'm so excited.  I've found an animal shelter to work with doing fund raising projects.

Kitty Keepers is my animal shelter of choice for the following reasons:  They believe in good, solid, local adoptions.  They educate the public about declawing and it's affect on cats.  They also do community outreach in the area of spaying and neutering.  They have a wonderful facility,  go see it on the web!  I also liked them because they're close to Vaughn, where we live.  We can go see the cats in person.  We can't wait to go there, and take photos of cats so I can paint them!

On my blog there are other ways you can donate to Kitty Keepers.  Open your purr-se and become their purr-son! :)  I'm creating a special Kitty Keepers Kollectors page giving credit to the people who contribute to this worthy organization.  I'm donating aceo cards to the project.  The Kitty Keepers Kollectors page will be on my horse art website.

You can also donate to them through the http://goodsearch.com search engine.  Use that for your search engine, and select Kitty Keepers in the donation bar.  A penny goes to Kitty Keepers each time you use it.  You can also put a link to good search in your toolbar so it's easy to access.  A penny doesn't sound like much, but it adds up fast!
