Most Recent Posts What's In A Name?Posted Jan-03-08 10:26:28 PST Updated Jan-03-08 10:42:36 PST I've been hawking original studio manufactured dvds since ... oh, I already covered this in the History section. Ok, but there was'nt much room to explain where the moniker JaesPix originated and why I am considering changing it. Short on imagination when I created this account, I was stumped as to what handle I should use to hawk my original studio manufactured dvds (yeah, another shameless plug). I wanted to get running so I chose a childhood nickname (I've had many) that I really love and still use to this day: Pajatis. Now, a brief history: My friend's mother often thought her son called me Pajatis when in fact he was saying Patrick (he mumbled? she was half-deaf perhaps?). My friends thought it was a hoot, and hence a nickname was born. Back to Jaespix. So I unhappily used Pajatis even though it was not clever enough to allude to the merchadise I sold while being innocuous for discreet buyers. Imagine having to explain to your wife, husband or best homophobic friend what you purchased from a seller who's handle is 'cheapgayporn'! So exactly one month into selling I got the brilliant but latent idea to use my other nickname, Jae, which already had a neat suffix appended years ago to share my collection of gay pics in file sharing groups (you know the kind). It was indicative of my merchandise while not being obnoxious and already had a email addy set up and blah blah blah ... Now six months later I really want to change the handle once more. Why? Because JaesPix brings to mind, well, photographic still ... pictures. I want prospective buyers to think gay porn dvd, but I don't want to confuse all my buyers who are used to the moniker I seem to be stuck with. Of course, I've come up with a genious handle that will more accurately reflect the stuff I sell and is memorable to boot! Just what is my brilliant alternate name? JaesFlix. Eh? So what do you think: JaesPix or JaesFlix? |
