In Good Faith.... Beware counterfeits part 2Posted Mar-28-08 22:54:30 PDT Understandably, I had no clue that these were anything less than the fine Shure brand microphones I have used and loved for years. In fact I spent several days prior to ordering them, surfing Ebay, and other sites to find these exact microphones. I researched prices and selling statistics to determine the viability of the piece. I was (and to some extent still am) convinced. As a musician and a singer I appreciate the quality and value of a good microphone, and I accepted these in good faith, and upon inspection, I did not then, nor in fact do I now, see any difference, blemish or flaw that would give me pause to look at them twice, or to think that these might be counterfeit. In Good Faith, I listed them on Ebay and began tracking them, I listed 3 one on the 24th the 25th and the 27th, I was thrilled to see several people watching the items and as the closing time of the sale was approaching after the weekend, I was excited at the prospect. I returned home from work, Friday March 28, and after supper and yard work I turned on the PC to see how things were going. The first thing I saw was my items had ended.....prematurely, or so I thought, and I fired off a fast message to Ebay griping about the lost sale time and the fees , of course. It was not until later when I checked my Ebay mail account that I saw why they were ended, nothing less than a rep from Shure had filed the papers declaring my microphones to be "unauthorized" nonetheless, I was stunned as I read the damning words. So to any who may have been watching these items and planning to purchase one, I offer, on behalf of myself and the company I represent, KLL Mrketing LLC, our deepest and most heartfelt apologies. There was no malice or intent to defraud, and the items were removed from all sales and auction sites, including my my own. So understand I am an honest businessman, and as a Christian as well, I pray that you will accept this act of contrition, and forgive me and continue to look at the items I sell here. At least I know they are not bogus! James Lewis
