Please, PLEASE do NOT me wrong I am grateful for eBay & being able to make some extra money selling my wares here BUT when I went to pay my fee's after I listed/sold my item I was SHOCKED to see ONE item listed/sold cost me 14.75$ !!

The item DID sell for 214.00$ (less S&H) & I saw on PAYPAL that 7.01$ was automaticaly taken out (is that for PAYPAL or does eBay dip their greedy fingers into another chunk of my change too?)

What is that fee for that PAYPAL listed as being taken out right off the bat?

So, I went to pay the eBay listing fee's so as to keep up with my account I pay each time an item sells to get it out of the way before I spend the money or take it out & allow the fee's to build up. I paid the 14.75$ & it looks like I paid another 7.01$ to eBay also, so I paid nearly 21$ to sell one item on eBay & I want to know why?

Are they taking advantage of the fact that places like eBay are few & far between?

Onlineauctions.com charges you 8$ a month to buy/sell as much as you please & all you owe them is the 8$. You keep all profits AFTER you pay the S/H for each item you mail to the buyer. That is not a shabby deal. I can see why a few fellow eBayers I know have made the switch. It is a tad easier to list here on eBay but like a new eBayer you have to learn the lingo & learn the ropes to listing/buying/dealing w/fellow listers/buyers. When you are comfy w/ OA.com you are in like flynn & say your final goodbyes to eBay..Ebay does not seem to cry for you leaving them however. They have idiots like me paying 2 times to list/sell an item on their site!

After I pay the S/H/Insurance I will have a OK profit but if I were on OA.com I would have a even BIGGER profit.

So what keeps me here on eBay you may be wondering? Comfortability & the fact what I sold here on eBay in 7 days I could not sell on OA in 10+.

I could keep trying on OA & see what happens but I get easily frustrated. I may take the plunge out of my comfort zone to save my money & sanity.I understand eBay needs to keep themselves afloat BUT why rip off the little people when they have so many Top Sellers that are their bread & butter? Jackin me of nearly 21$ to list/sell one measly item is wrong. I am doing all of the hard work all they are doing is rakin in the loot!

Am I alone when I say there is something foul with these inflated prices? What is up with charging twice to list one item? They hit me up in PAYPAL & in my regular eBay acct.

I am writing about that 7.01$ charge BTW I want to know the breakdown of their charges & I will post it here..Be on the lookout my fellow eBayers! WE SHALL OVERCOME! NO NEW FEE'S!
