Archive - February 2007 I'm BacK!!!!! Come see my some of my new items!!!Posted Feb-25-07 23:55:12 PST Hi Bloggers, yeah, I know it's late!!! I fell asleep in the recliner, on the heating pad!!! My son just woke me up! Ok, for those of you who don't quite remember me, look at my past blogs...my son has a very rare lung cancer, and just had surgery in december removing 2/3rds of his right lung, 40 nodes and his 4th rib. He is really coming along now!!! Thank God!! Anyhoooooo, I've opened up my own online store, and need traffic. Even though it is not an Ebay store, I was able to put some of the items on ebay! More to follow....I only put on a dozen items to test them out...see how they do!! If they sell, then I'll add more!!! All proceeds from my auctions will go to my son's medical expenses!! This is the only way I know how to help with that. He does have insurance, but we all know that sometimes isn't enough!! He still has over $90,000 in debt after the insurance!! He are having a benefit for him in May!! So please bloggers....check out my items on auction....and my store at www.uzellatime.com . Thank you and God Bless!! Cindy I finally have my own online store!!!Posted Feb-25-07 10:56:52 PST I finally have my own online store......and actually it is dedicated to helping my son out with his medical bills. I'll be learning how to put some of these items on Ebay as buy-it-nows, and auctions, but don't know if they will link up my online business. You can check it out at www.uzellatime.com and happy shopping!!
Nate is doing good....recouperating from his rare lung cancer!!Posted Feb-17-07 16:21:36 PST Hi Everyone, My son, Nate, is doing quite well after his surgery from his rare lung cancer!! They took out 2/3rds of his right lung, 40 lymphnodes, his 4th rib, and even harvested his latisimus dorsey muscle from his back to help support the remaining lung. It has been 2 months now since his surgery, and he is making great strides!! He has physical therapy 3 times per week...and see's his oncologist every 6 weeks, currently, for blood tests, urine tests, and full body ct scans!!! The fluid they found in his small intestines is suspicious of carcinoid, so they will be monitoring that area, especially, over the next few years....and they will be doing these ct scans for the next 10 years or longer!! Nathan is doing remarkably well, and hopes to return to part time work by mid March!!! Please visit the family habitat website, listed below, to purchase items at great prices. The proceeds will go to Nate's cancer fund account to help defray his mounting medical bills. Also, sometime this coming week, I'll be rolling out my new superstore. All proceeds from this will go to help Nathan out as well!!! Thank you and God Bless!! The Uzella Family To read more about Nathan's story, please visit www.FamilyHabitat.com and select fundraising.
